Hey guys,

I don't know if the topic had been mentioned before, but I have a simple question.

It is said that Haarl's book drops from SoT, but does it drop from the last boss, the 'ambush' or any of the chests?

Thx for replies. :D

Please don't spread false information if you don't know for sure.

This evening it dropped for me on the boss in SoT normal. we had to need/greed for it.

You are kidding of course ...? because i have played epic SoT dozens of times for days without find even one tome...omgg
and you found it just in the normal SoT ...?i don't know what to say ....great luck ...? or it's a programming mistake not to drop in epic SoT...
    iam curious..

Its an extremely rare drop so yes i was lucky to see one up close (it was a guild run so we split it everybody got a bit ad, still don't have the boon unlocked) but i am curious why you assume epic has a higher drop rate then normal? and even if epic has a higher drop rate i can run normal twice as fast so that doubles my changes, farming the skirmish on normal seems logical to me. And to be clear i did a lot of runs. Got a charisma belt, multiple gems and a artifact. In my experience out of those items i get something every 20 runs. In my experience if your casual and you do 3 runs a day (Rhix daily) you wont get anything unless you extremely lucky.

These boon tomes are turning out to be a real pain, they make Sharandar look fairly fast, indeed. Most people are going to have to run the 2-3 months of dailies every day if they want those last two boons.

I gave up on this Campaign, I have to study not to grind.
Casual player here. I managed to get 3 boons and let the other 2 that require those books rot up there.

Campaign should be be something fun, not a grind chore.

Yeah, pretty much this. All my 8 toons are over 17K and most are over 18K-19K, so it won't change much anyway.
