Because Mod2 and 3 were fun ._. Nice to see you stay positive and I'm happy to know you're playing the class you truly love instead of flipping to the FOTM each month
I do fully agree with you, HR is the funniest class I've ever played in this game, way more diverse than anything else, and so much skill-rewarding you're really dragged into keep using it and enjoying whenever you notice the happening of improvements.
When module 4 hit I had three characters with gears, dailies and sh-- ready to be used in PvP, and I wanted to stick with just one of them. I've been playing CW since when I installed the game, and I had a sh--load of experience with GWF that made me pretty confident whenever I dragged it out in PvP, but out of the three I picked the HR despite it being the one I knew and played the less, because after giving it a thought I ended up with the conclusion that it was far more fun and rewarding than the other two.
Back in module 3 HR in PvP was clearly a copy + paste fotm, now everything is much more diverse and you're seeing different setups going well, as well as powers and feats layouts. Nothing is really granted, and change is still happening as the players are still trying to understand what works the best against the always-evolving meta.

I have always played a (hunter) ranger, back when I was role-playing, my main was a ranger and later I had an Arcane Archer when that became available. Any game that had a class with a bow I would play. The Amazon in Diablo 2 and then the big one for me was the hunter in WoW. Imo it was the most fun class to play out of all the others as it had the meta game with taming pets.
When I discovered Neverwinter, I fell in love with the HR. The style is just so engaging and fun, combat more so than archer for me, although I loved the old hybrid HR. I only have 2 toons in the game and both are HRs, archer for pve and combat for pvp and I can't see any other class matching these experiences for me. I hope Cryptic don't screw up this class any more because then I have to look for a new game with a bow-wielding character!
