Coalesced Potions - a new potion bar would be nice

Thanks for the new potions that work for 20 seconds.:p

But really. I am not going to swap out healing pots to ever use them.

A new potions bar would be fantastic!!!

Other then that they are just vendor trash!

yeah a set of hotkeys for them would be useful but until we get them the new pots are all but useless , 20 second use and 5 minute cooldown lol

I would really just like to make the "Adorable Pet" and "Tymora's Lucky Coin" constant bonuses so long as they stay in your inventory.

I think the amount potion slots are fine, but we tend to put a variety of items on those slots.

Innnnnnnnnnnnnndeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed. I have not used my pocket pet because it takes a **** and can't decided if it's worth it. I see that they're going for 224k on auction house though. If I'm hard up for cash, perhaps I shall sell him.

Pocket Pet doesn't bind on equip?

Is there anything that makes these 20 second potions worth keeping in my inventory?

On the plus side, they're worth a lot of silver.

Pocket pet does bind on equip but I have never equipped it. That is kind of why I am thinking of getting rid of it, using up a belt slot for that thing just doesn't seem worth it.

Then again, he is cute and collectable.

It's PvP which is intense combat - you almost need 5 min duration (with temp overflow) and 20 sec cooldown.

Without a useful way to manage potions (UI-wise) pretty much every single potion added to the game will be nothing more than vendor trash.
Three hotbar slots for potions, foods and an assortment of other buffs is just way too little.

False. It will be more hassle that is true. But good players playing in premades will still use them

So you're saying that for the vast majority of the playerbase my point is still valid while a select few will open their inventories and fiddle around every now and then. I'd say that doesn't change anything as far as new potions being doomed to be vendor trash goes.

I said GOOD PVP PLAYERS will use it. There will be a market for this as long as GOOD PVP PLAYERS use it. Elixirs have a market, this will too.

Now if you are on page 800 of the leaderboards and you don't care about winning that much, the new pots go for 37silver which is pretty nice.

Some of the casuals will probably use it too for the lols.

Well believe me, it is worth using. 5% crit severity or ap gain are HUGE bonuses.

So according to you, micro-managing the inventory to use pots is part of the 'skill' which differentiates a good player from a lesser one? What has the world come to?

You can keybind commands to use them without taking up your slots using the PowerExec command, as any item that does something is considered a power.

    Use it like this:
    /PowerExec 1 Power_Name_Goes_Here

Potion of Coalesced Agility has the powername "Potion_Coalesced_Agility" so you would use the command like so:

    /PowerExec 1 Potion_Coalesced_Agility

Here's a short list of powernames that should work. Every item has one, but I don't know them all.

    Potion_Coalesced_Defense
    Potion_Coalesced_Force
    Potion_Coalesced_Agility
    Potion_Coalesced_Precision

So if I used this to keybind the potions, How do I state the Key it is bound too?

    Is it? /PowerExec (?) Power_Name_Goes_Here = (?) the key

Or at least have one single button for both the Tymora coin and the Adorable pet, as there is no circumstances under which you'd want to use only one of the two.
If one button is for your healing potions, two for your pet/coin, there does not remain much buttons for the coal potions.
Russian leaderboard first page. The proof.

How do you know the powername of an item? For example, Tymora's Lucky Coin?
