LOL some of the voiceacting in this game is ATROCIOUS.
I loves me some Old Lenn in the Blackdagger Ruins, and the characters like the Dryad in Hotenow were superb. But... pretty much any character who is supposed to have an accent like most any dwarf character makes me hit the minus key as fast as I can. It's kinda like they went around at the office after having a few drinks and recorded themselves trying to sound brogue, and after listening to how awful it was, put it ingame as an inside joke.
I'm not saying change it or anything... I'm glad to have a great game to play, and the minus key works just fine. It's just an observation I've made while playing.

I agree Old Lenn is the best! "It'll make an o-o-old sea dog happy-y-y...." best delivered line in a voice actor for a game. Fun fact; Old Lenn received love letters from a lass named Rohini. Check the name if the succubus at the cathedral in Helm's Hold...
I think the worse voice acting comes from the dread ring thayan brutes. Then you have the helms hold pit fiend audio balance that needs to be corrected, way too loud.

I think that reference is lost on most people. I think I picked it up on my third character through. LOL

My favorite is the guy in Neverdeath Graveyard calling for Sigels sounds a LOT like Cheech Marin of Cheech and Chong fame. (Oh, and I always pronounced them "sih-jels" not "sig-gels" - toh-may-tow and tow-mah-tow I suppose.)
Also, whoever did the lich phylactery in Neverdeath Graveyard needs a cookie. THAT is some fine voiceacting right there. And good writing for that bit, too.

Yeah, I did love that 'mission chain'.
And on the opposite end of the scale, yes, anytime a Dwarf 'talks' it is absolutely terrible. Like the Dwarf you run into 2 minutes into the tutorial. WOW that's just so bad.

It's outstanding. I actually look forward to it when levelling a new character.
My other fave is the Halfling wizard quest giver in Helm's Hold. So bad it's good.
Edit: According to Panderus' list the Lich is Sam Mowry. Top job.

It took me until my 8th character until it clicked for me >.>.
Voice acting never really bothered me though.

I love the voice acting, and wish they would release the voice actors/cast info. It's Winter Festival time and the Astrologer is back!!! I love his voice. Was guesing who it was (lead guesses were Private Hawthidorn and Rhazzad, but multiple listens have proven he's not either of them...) Does anyone know other characters for the same voice actor as the astrologer?
(I also enjoyPrivate Hawthidorn, and Old Lem, and Sgt. Knox and Xaliana, and I truly love the phylactery lich AND his quest, and Jesket the Thayan renegade...) But each year, OH that Astrologer's voice!!!!

To me he always manages to say just 'The stars hold... the stars'
As for me, I most liked the voice of Tristopher Chettlebell... 'I have a… friend who has hired, err, I mean asked me to help prove her birthright...'
And the most disliked voice (apart from dwarfs and Shil Yargo) is probably the would be old woman from Candlekeep (don't remember her name) who gives you the quest to get the book on Nematodes... The actor is so obviously not old at all that she sounds just ridiculous. Thank gods, she is not voicing any regular NPCs...
Yes, Valindra is particularly awesome in the cut-scene prior to the final boss battle in the last Neverdeath Graveyard dungeon! That wild laughter is awesome when she talks about the "rite of the dracolich," followed by a much softer, "Oh, hello there . . ." My favorite voice acting in the game - such a transition!

In fact I don't feel any regret for the game at all." looomis said, "I don't like people changing to alts and then bragging about their mains like schizophrenic role players."
The she-dwarf hawking the starlight boxes in Twilight Tor -- whoever's doing her should get a Christmas bonus. If I met her in the mall selling something, I'd buy ten.
Tiamat and Valindra are both great. As are their minions. Neverwinter FOOLS!
Rhix has more character than the whole rest of the game. He should do a movie. Maybe he could play Deekin.

(Bothers me, the Sharandar Witches Finderal Birchspear, I believe, mispronouncing realm as REELM and not relm)
Melodywhr supplied a link to the list of voice actors panderus gave us some time ago in post #10.
