Question about Holy fervor.

the tool tip on this Feat states that your your attacks generate 5% more action points, (15% at rank 3)

when I slotted this Feat I get 15% more Action point on my overall action point gain, my action point gain without Holy fervor is 42.3%, but when I slotted it my action point gain is 57.6%.

so my question is, does this feat works with with every DC powers? does it work with Astral shield, Bastion of health, and sunburst? or does it only work with powers that are attacking powers?

please if anyone will take the time and answer my question with details I will very much appreciate it, hopefully I wont get a yes or no answer this time.

thanks

Holy Fervor shows as additive on your character sheet but it's effect in game is multiplicative with AP gain from recovery when I last tested (module 2). For example if you gain base 1% AP per cast of an ability, slotting Holy Fervor will give 1.15% AP.

Formula is something like that show below. Afaik everything is multiplicative even if some are added on your character sheet (and some aren't)

    AP gain = base AP gain * (1+ AP gain from CHA and recovery%) * (1+ holy fervor %) * (1 + APgain auxillary stat from artifacts/gear etc) * (1+ boons%) * (1+ companion bonus% eg sprite) etc.

It works with most healing and damaging DC powers. The one exception is Prophecy of Doom, that ability has fixed AP gain dependent on rank and divine mode. If there are other exceptions let me know.

I know for a fact that it works with any attacking power (at-wills and encounters, and yes except PoD) but I'm not sure if it works with healing powers. TBH I've never really bothered to check.

If it did, though, then that would be a bug. BTW, any DC power that does damage counts as an attacking power (SB, FF).

I think it does work with healing powers. I did sunburst to heal when there was no mobs nearby, and healed a bit, and i saw the AP go up, slightly.

    To quote myself:

In other words Holy Fervor should work with Sunburst (and it does).

Most spells that heal always generate AP or trigger feats/powers when used on someone with enough missing HP. Holy Fervor simply increases the amount of AP you gain.
