A wild "Ancient Curio" appears

Ok, i should've took a screenshot but just 10 minutes ago, i logged into one of my characters, invoked, professions, blah blah blah, and as I was about to log off I found an ancient curio lying on the floor! How did that happen? I didn't use any item... at least i don't remember using any item. I went to check my riches tab and rest assured it is in that bag and i have one.
So what exactly happened here?

    Must have been one of those European Swallows that couldn't carry it anymore and dropped it at your feet. :rolleyes:

    For this event, the Ancient Curio could be left behind from a confetti popper. I didn't have it happen, but the Madman indicated it would be left lying on the ground.

    If you didn't use confetti, someone else must have and you ninjaed their Curio. (Forgivable if they took off without noticing it.)

    Must be scripted like the Robe of Useless Items, the only source I know of for loot drops that can be picked up by anybody.

    lol i totally forgot about the curio's for this even. I sold my 3 random confetti's i got for the minimal copper since i didn't want them :(

    Hmmm.. I didn't know about any curio.. Had enough points left only for a popper and popped it.. then ran away cuz the noise startled me.. lol. Maybe you got mine. hahaha

    I wanted to say that I did hear a confetti being popped, it wasn't me popping it. I didn't ninja it though, at least i don't think i did... I was still doing professions assignment during that time and lo and behold my cursor happened to hover over the item on the floor.

    Had no idea about that. I popped mine as soon as I got them,
    to celebrate the speech finally ending.
