Terrible matchmaking

Hi,

Today, and all the days, I got teams with players that:

-Start all in base, never go middle.
-0 tenacity, or very low tenacity.
-They dont cap/contest/hold points 1, 2 and 3.
-They face 2vs1 situations and they loose it.
-Im always fighting more than 1 or 2 enemies alone.
-GS very low.
-Very low knowledge of classes/skills/encounters/dodges.
-They start AFK in campfire/leave match/disconnect computer from network.

Please, stop grouping me with this kind of people. My elo is wrong, I cant carry with them to win matches, actually Im loosing it, its not fun, there is no chance to win, terrible game experience.

Almost of them join for rough astral diamonds. They are not interested in pvp.

Please, fix it, it is getting me mad. I taked it with a lot of patience and best optimist intentions, but I cant go more in pvp with this situation.

This matches ARE not balanced, I spent a lot of time, interest, money and all in my chars, and I got teams with people that gears gray items, and we face enemies very stronger.

I dont want to carry with 4 players of this kind.

Just now, after the OP, I got this team:

-2 Players with 9k GS and 0 tenacity. They started at base and stopped fighting at minute 2.
-1 Player with 14k GS that disconnected at minute 1.

So we are 4 vs 5 with 2 players that stop playing and they died with 2 encounters.

I lost ~50 pages in leaderboard, with 3 matches with this kind of players.

I prefer long queues, Please fix.

I want to enjoy the game, but this is very frustrating.

this is exactly about what is neverwinter PVP. many players interesting only for RAD reward, spend some time in pvp and get their reward no matter how they play. Sad that pvp module 3 do nothing with it

You just have to find likeminded and similarly geared friends to queue with, and hope you don't go versus an all rank 10 paid-for team. Normally when I pug I don't even lose rank on the leader board because everyone else is such low gearscore the game probably pities us and keeps us where we are on the leaderboard. xD

I'm really fed up with it as well. I'm about to just quit PVPing altogether and just do Foundry ^^

I usually rotate between PVP/Foundry/RP . Seems I have to drop PVP because it's actually making me really mad lately.

I can recommend it. Less stress, less foul language, and a LOT more fun, provided you don't take the 10 sec quests.

No sir I actually play my foundries like I'm playing a real single player game. I disable the fairy dust and actually explore ^^

    Welcome to neverwinter PVP

Basically every game you gonna get 1 player that is 8k-12k with a PVE build and do nothing all game.

Only way you can avoid this is to 5 man premade.

Only way you can avoid this is to 5 man premade.

If you solo queue, the PvP-premade or partial premade will be your opponents.

If you premade with friends who don't normally PvP, your opponents will be composed of solo-queuing PvP players.

If you queue with one or two friends, you might get into a fair match, if you're very lucky. Otherwise it's stomp-or-be-stomped.

That's how it goes for me anyway.

    So, about this matchmaking...

Lost quite a few matches the other night, some partial premades, some solos...not a good day out on the field. One particular match was a buddy and myself against a pug -our pugs just could not get it together. Nor would they follow any suggestions (possible language barrier). We lost and as a frame of reference, I dropped probably 5 pages on leaderboard because the opposing team's elo was most likely very low. No big, it happens but...

Now, with the hit to my ELO I'm being placed mostly in games against what I would guess to be the 9-12k gs range. So I can basically run around at my leisure and take what I want...no problems charging in on the enemy node and killing most or all of what's there at the beginning of the match. And then routinely and successfully 1v3 throughout the match. I understand that I lost a few matches and my ranking should suffer but not that much. Granted, my matches are not fun for me right now but who cares, what's important is that it's not even remotely fair for the people it's putting me against.

At this point some will probably be thinking there are not enough players on so it has to give me a match with what's available. And I would agree if it wasn't soo many in a row.

I can't say how all of this works nor can I say how it needs to be fixed since I am in no way any type of developer. I can say that it should be fixed because I can see nothing really good coming from these types of matches. What's unfortunate is that I pretty much have to continue to ruin other people's pvp experience until I'm back where I belong.

You may prefer long queues, the rest of us don't. So every now and then -more often if your ELO isn't stable yet- you'll get matched with lower/higher ranked people. Simply because there's nothing else to match you with.
Playing matches > ELO ranking. Nothing you can do about it. If I was one of the 4 lower geared in your party I wouldn't want to wait 50 minutes for another low geared one to enter the queue. I wouldn't want it if I had 20k GS either.

Go play OPvP if you want to go up against good geared people. Or team up with your guild/friends and pray you won't get a 20k allround GS team against you.

pls speak for yourself, i'd take a 10minute queue to get in a decent match over a 1minute queue and pugstomp terrible players
    Don't waste my time.
