Hello all,

today was another patch day and the same procedure as usual: "Why didn't you fix this?"."Why is that still bugged?."No new cloth?" ^^

It must be pretty frustrating for you, doing this Sisyphean labour and rarely getting a thank you for it. Therefore this thread, which is dedicated to all who appreciate the devs' work and, of course, to the team itself. You guys are doing a great job!

Looking forward to other statements and remember: Devs need moar love! ;)

They did a great job with the patch today. Fixed most of the high priority bugs from mod 3.

And as far as mod 3 goes. They did a wonderful job of getting a PvE guy like me to do lots of PvP.

Well some of the things could have been avoided if they didn't rush the release in a buggy state. Of course some issues only become apparent when it reaches live and they also can't fix everything at once. But some of the things they were told about and could have fixed before they released it. For those issues they shouldn't exactly be thanked for fixing something in a way where it shouldn't have been released in that state. Still it's nice to spread some positivity where people are usually negative people. I can too at times but usually only at things I feel justified.

I was happy to see that the drow racial passive bug finally got fixed, and that is a nice step in the right direction. But in all honesty, right now, I feel like they do not deserve any thanks as they still have made absolutely no effort in the whole hunter rangers basically being told they are not worth the dev's time to give us either; A) a respec with all the changes and second paragon path or B) some kind of response as to why HRs are getting the shaft when every other class got a respec with their second paragon path and some even got another in the form of a forced respec when major changes were made to that class. I would say a practically complete overhaul in the HR's skill would be considered a major change to the class.

I would like to think that I am not alone in the thought that, if nothing else, we deserve some form of an explanation. Until this issue gets settled, I can say the devs are not earning any love from me (and I would guess many other HR's). Actions like this, or the complete lack of action as is the case right now, is not the way to get any sort of favor with a player base. If anything, this lack of action on the dev's part is probably earning them more animosity than love.

I like the game. I see players swarming all over the place so I assume they like it too. I haven't played long enough to have any particular gripes (other than the character creation changes). This game has a certain nostalgic feel about it for me because of a past Crytic game I played and loved; many things feel familiar. Plus the Forgotten Realms setting is gravy.

There is no lack of action at Cryptic, they just haven't gotten to what you want yet. There is probably far more that they want to do/fix then they have had the time to do so far I would imagine.

I really do appreciate what the devs do and in response I have tried to make it a point to purchase $10-$20 worth of Zen every month. I am used to pay MMO's, so it's not a real issue for me to treat this one the same.

I think that for most MMO's the forums are always mostly complaints and angry people, but I also think this is a great game and I'm glad bugs are getting fixed, I wish people were so vocal about the things they like about the game that with the things they don't. XD

The game and the admins have tons of flaws, a lot of which cannot be expressed on the forums (exploiters etc).

However, I will say that this game's core mechanics are much much better than most other MMOs out there and I can certainly breakdown the many flaws of other MMOs currently in the market (and those about to get released these ones are based on my beta play)

This is the purpose of this thread. And I take the opportunity to ask everyone who wants to critcize to respect the dedication of this thread and post their criticism in another thread.

Sadly enough, people usually only come to the forums to complain. The times we are enjoying things, we're too busy playing to complain :) /signed Good work guys! Keep up the good work. And maybe go help out the team in charge of Champions online ;)

So far I didn't have much issues aside from some of the bugs, usually the lags were caused by bad drivers or router settings from my end but I'm glad that I have fixed them. Gotta thank all the developers that made this game possible.

One thing alot of major bugs dont surface untill high traffic. Second its a MMORPG. the entire industry is famous for lag, glitches, problems etc. And honestly gameplay time to number of glitches and problems i deal with equals to the amount per hour i experience on system games(everyone can note ES games.). which i paid for. and with a system a glitch or problem is answered with "well you can buy the next one and that problem wont exist......probley" and what manny people ask for i think they think all it takes is the devs goin in and goin bang boom 2 secs and done. problem fixed. Im shure if that was the case wed all be devs. im shure its much more difficult and time consuming than players seem to think it is. AND REMEBER. your getting this game free. lol.and by free i mean totally free. no item is out of our grasp if we dont pay. there are no special items. fashion or otherwise that require cash. and even the most expensive items on zen can be bought using extange in a month of average game time. wich is reasonable to say the least. if everything was cheap or had a high drop rate everyone would have it. And what else would you have to play for. ever heard beggers cant be choosers. I feel cryptic answers to our requests as best as humany possible while taking into acount others as well. just cause you think it needs to be or should be top priority doesnt mean everyone does. thank you cryptic for all your hard work and continue giving us D&D nuts the perfect world to play in.

I'm glad this is here. Yes, I've been very annoyed by the lag in Icewind Pass, but I was thinking to myself last night about sending a letter to Cryptic enumerating the things I like about both the new and old content. Sometimes, when people come to a forum to complain, they do so because they love the game enough to care how it works.

A few years ago there was an offline game I adored (still do) but at release I was getting 7 FPS and certain parts of the game caused CTD issues. I wasn't alone, everyone who got that game had those problems. Didn't matter what kind of computer they had. The devs fixed it and we were all happy except for our personal failures, which not a single person blamed the devs for, and there were lots of those because the devs didn't dumb down their vision to suit the high twitch crowd.

I see the same thing here and I rejoice. I started gaming with P&P D&D. I've tried for years to explain why I love it so much, to family and friends, but this game lets me show them without having to make that 3 am run for Doritos on the 4th day of consecutive play. I love the lore, the animations are amazing. The quest lines are interesting and you don't have to grind for 15 levels to trigger the next part. I've always been more interested in story than glory, so I'm glad there's enough story here for people like me.

So, thank you, Devs, and keep going!
