Black Ice Crafting XP

Not understanding how to increase Black Ice Shaping levels. What am I missing (besides a few brain cells)?

    You upgrade it by performing a task in the profession I think, just like alchemy. Go back and look again and you should find it.

    Black ice Profession does earn exp.

    Instead you have to unlock it in the Campaign. You have to do dailies to earn the right things to unlock rank 1,2 and 3. It will take 35 days of dailies to unlock rank 3.
