Apparatus of Kwalish Appearance.

Anyone else notice the sudden change to it's appearance in the lockbox resurgence announcement?
It's still the same in game.
Does this mean a new one?
Or an updated appearance in mod3?

Has me very curious, as the new appearance is much better than the old one.

    It is two different mounts. The gold one isn't available for players currently.

    Probably a mistake on the part of whoever put together the article.

    No clue on the name since the only time I have seen it was when some devs were riding it during PvP testing on the preview server.

    I have a feeling it's going to be an appearance change, honestly.
    Even in the description of the Apparatus of Kwalish in actual D&D lore, it's a mechanical lobster.
    They could be changing it to better fit into D&D canon.
    It could go either way.

    There is no way it is an appearance change since I have seen both versions at the same time and the Apparatus of Kwalish hasn't changed on preview server.

    Since we don't know the name, let's call it Apparatus of Gond until we learn the proper name (assuming it is ever released).

    It's just called Apparatus , it's been knocking about on the client since the launch of Shadowmantle but never released , since it is golden maybe it's just meant for GM's? , there is also the Wonderous figure companion that is also just golden that has never been released either , they all got posted when Shadowmantle was datamined when it was put onto the test server 6 months ago.

    I saw a picture of a gold apparatus of kwalish... is this the new appearance of the mount in mod 3 or is it another version(legendary) of it?

    It's probably a mistake by whoever put together the news report ,unless you have seen one in the game being used by a regular player , we asked in a couple of other threads already including the thread with a link to the report the screenshot is from and no developer has bothered to reply .

    The Apparatus of Kwalish isn't changing with mod 3. This is a separate variation of it that hasn't been released to the public.

    I really wish they wouldn't have little screw ups like this, it confuses the player base and leaves ALOT of questions that never seem to be answered from anyone in perfect world.

    My bet is a Legendary version. Along the lines of the Legendary Beetle.

    I suspect there will be more Legendary Mounts coming out, and some will be through upgrading existing mounts (Read: AD Drain)

    If so, waiting for the Legendary Sled!
