Please fix skirmish rewards and afkers. Skirmish hour rewards get worse as you level and the daily does not cover it nor is there even a daily at level 60. Blacklake is usually completed in less than 3 minutes without much effort. Less than 2 minutes is not unheard of. The level 60 skirmish has horrible pugs that have trouble completing it and it takes much longer even with the fastest crew. Rewards are way too high at low levels and not that good at high levels. There are tons of experience players farming Blacklake since the reward isn't good at the higher level spawns.

There's been a lot of afk accounts farming the Blacklake skirmish because of how fast you can reach level 6 and the huge rewards. It is also harder to get kicked due to how fast it is and because of inexperienced players. Even if they do, they will eventually become leader. They now do a little bit of damage before they go afk so I'm not sure reporting will even work anymore. It is extremely easy to just make a new account that is eligible and get the ridiculous rewards. Lower the rewards enough and maybe this will stop.


Edit: I forgot to mention that you likely have the same drop rate for artifacts. I know I have gotten a lantern at Blacklake, but I think ad is the main reason for the current afkers.

    I feel yer pain, but be careful what you wish for. AFK sux, but I can remember times where I waited in queue for hours for these, truly.. to have them pop well after I'd forgotten I'd queued, when I was just about to start the final boss fight in the zone cap lair.

    These dudes might be the only reason you are getting in.. These things will be harder without a proper functional team, but you can still do them.

    Of course it may be your preference to never get in, if this is what you get. I can appreciate that, too.

    So just to be clear its OK to AFK for PVP but not a skirmish? Every time someone AFK's in my PVP match I pass it on by doing it 5 times in skirmishes. Sounds fair to me.

    There are tons of people doing Blacklake. There is no way that you waited hour to play Blacklake during skirmish hour.

    No, it is not okay to afk during pvp matches either and they should be reported. They really need a time limit to pvp matches and encourage more people to play it.

    No one said it is OK. And I have been playing since beta.. with 11 level 60 chars.. I've seen a few things.. So yeah. You can F.O.A.D., for calling me a liar. I have ABSOLUTELY waited that long.. in fact, on one character, I cleared that entire zone without seeing another living soul. Done talking to you I reckon.     This is a discussion about current conditions. I doubt that your experience was recent. It still doen't taken long for Blacklake even without skirmish hour. Keep on topic.

    This is a problem even when it isn't skirmish hour. I had a 6 minute and 22 second run on my GF and there was someone afk the entire time. The party leader wouldn't kick even though I said to kick him half a dozen times. Farmers exploit new players like this I have never had this much trouble at any of the other skirmishes.

    I kick when I am the leader but a lot of players will not and even if they do, the person will eventually become the leader. I have never had so many problems with party members not even trying to contribute in other games and this is mostly restricted to Blacklake.

    This is still happening a lot. I doubt reporting it is doing any good and the GMs probably hate me. The players think they can get away with it, and they are probably right. The developers really need to fix things. I've never had this much problems with afkers in other games.

    I had the party leader sit out for half of Gate Crashers today but he was able to vote greed more than 30 seconds before he actually went back to playing (after the boss appeared).

    If it's any consolation, per the 4/24/14 Patch Notes on the Preview Server:

    "There is new Daily Skirmish quest available from Rhix to complete Master of the Hunt or the Dread Legion skirmishes three times."

    I just got done with a Blacklake skirmish hour and had 3 people I already blacklisted as party members and one alt account of a blacklisted person with extra numbers at the end. A quarter of my runs had afk farmers plus one more where I'm not sure if the person went afk for 30 or so seconds at a time twice or had connection troubles. Hopefully I'm not the only person reporting this so this problem goes away.

    This is good news. Now they just need to fix the afk problems in (mostly) Blacklake.

    All skirmishes drop artifacts.
