Hey guys , im a returning player and Im going to start a new character , Ive never reach endgame , could you guys give me some advice on what class to take?
I already have an cleric so , thts out of the picture. I like all the roles and a class that takes some skill to play and not 1 or 2 botons.

Thanks for your time ( and sorry for my english).

go GWF, it's OP for now, if you are geared you can easily tank 3 ppl hitting you at the same time and still kill 1 or 2 of them, or all 3 if they are not geared. But it will be nerfed in mod3... a silly nerf tho, they are nerfing the damage and not the tankiness which make the class so OP.

Most people can level a CW pretty easily, but to really master the class takes skill, (I'm mediocre w/ my CW at best), so give them a shot.

A HR can be very fun, but isn't really in demand on teams. They are getting some buffs, (and some nerfs), come Module 3, so you may be better off trying one after said changes. Still, I went w/ a nature spec, which I find fun, and can definitely solo quite well - the nature tree offers some nice team buffs, but most people go archery for pure DPS. I can't really speak on the melee track, though - I only switch to melee to trigger the different buff abilities it offers.

Roll a GWF! Easy to play, lots of HP, big hits, hard to kill, fast successes on pvp, now its demanded for pve since mod2.

Later you can play CW, DC!

I have all 6 classes and have yet to truly pick a favourite, but if I had to then I would say the CW followed by the GF, GWF, HR, TR, and finally the DC. The reason for the DC being last is it is very difficult for me to solo her without a large amount of pots and the merc companion... or in her case the spider lol

You mostly have the same amount of skill buttons on every class.. except CW can master one instead.

Not exactly sure what the OP was talking about in terms of DCs? Maybe didnt like the support role, which is understandable to a degree, but if your not mashing buttons to increase party dps, mitigate and heal then your probably do not understand it completely.

I enjoy the CW role alot as well.

IN pvp, you are probably safest to role a TR, then a GWF still.. in pve, its still a CW, then GWF right now. Cryptic is struggling on how to balance the classes to be useful in all phases of the game, each new patch seems to nerf someone, or buff someone else, the continue meta changes are kind of frustrating at times.

Right now CW is the hardest to play in PVP, and the most effective in PVE. So it depends on what you want to play.

Most guides are end-game guides. Check out the CW class forum. Stox has a great PVE build in there.

cw is loads of fun to play....theres is a feat somewhere that allows you to decrease threat by a percentage...I ignored this for other skills, and at times I regret it, luckily I often play with a very good gf. try not to get overlevelled for the area you are in, as the quest content is VERY easy for a cw

You into doing dungeons? Make a CW

You into doing PVP? Make GWF or TR

It's mainly a DPS class. A nature-spec HR can provide some team buffs, but those are kinda lacking right now, (they are getting a buff come module 3).

Throw in a good amount of PvP right from the start. You will not only play with and against players who have a GS similar to your own, but you also get a good amount of XP.

Once you are 5 levels above the mobs, which you have to fight in your quests, will these no longer attack on sight and only fight back when you attack them. This makes running through the maps a lot easier and faster.

PvP also shows you your strengths and weaknesses more than PvE does. In PvP will you die a thousand times and never need an injury kit and can test your character against other players like you were fighting a very tough boss.
    Stay frosty.

Can an HR be mainly a supporter class? Create an HR nature ? or a build like that is not welcome in dungeons?

To be honest, any HR is not welcome in dungeons.

It's a CW minus the CC

Not only without CC, their buffs, debuffs and damage aren't good enough to be competitive even as damage dealer.

GO solo MORe EXP for when PVE lvling... Go legit foundry when foundy exp is available. I lvled many every class available DC and GF are the worse... GF cant run run and DC ur strong with the first 30 lvls lvling solo. BUt when 2nd one other classes excel easier... coz u can go healer companin and pots.

I compared solo LVling with 2 man team lvling and pure PVp lvling... PVE/Foundy/Quest tyope is the fastest..... can be 60 under 1 week depends how u play.... DOuble for 2 man pve team.and for PVP it has been hard to que in low lvls but handy once ur slighly under 59

The buffs should be better when Module 3 goes live, but even then, it's the combination of their damage and buffs/debuffs that makes them useful to teams. That being said, they are more of a "jack of all trades, master of none" when it comes to comparing them to other classes, (namely DCs, CWs, and perhaps also GWFs).
