Respen's Marvelous Game was amazingly great.
It took me back to my 3rd Edition table-top gaming 3 day weekends which was a wonderful surprise! I have thousands of Master Maze pieces because I was the
Greatest ;)of all Dungeon Masters, for those who have never heard of Dwarven Forge...
The Rewards for the event were great. I earned my companions with 15
short successful runs each and Pocket Pets with 12. I only found a Pocket Pet randomly, I never found a Green Slime companion.
The "Call to Arms" events use a very low random luck percentage which sucks. I know this because I wasted a weekend doing the CtA and only got 1
Swashbuckler ALL WEEKEND!
It seems the
Green Slime Companions were also randomly dropping in the last chest? Can anyone confirm this? I ask because there were players trading them in chat.
Anyway, I hope they change future CtA events to include bound companions as a purchasable reward while leaving the same
bind on equip companion as a % RNG drop in loot, perhaps 1 in 35 odds?
My wife, friends and I had a great time. Please share your nostalgic stories with us, I'd like to hear them.
Thank you PWE / Cryptic, keep up the amazingly innovative work.

Yes, they were dropping... I got three from the final chest (and four adorably adorable Adorable Pocket Pets), over about 125 runs. (The RNG was very kind to me this week... I even got an Eye of Lathander yesterday on just my 19th Adamantine gauntlet. )

I got a Green Slime from the chest and bought an Adorable Pocket Pet with the crystal dices.
Really like how every run is randomized somewhat and different enough to not be boring like the previous events.
Hope future events are at least of this standard.
Keep the randomisation and the ability to buy the rare drops so casual players won't feel alienated.
Well done=)
The whole event was really nicely done.
Btw, I think it is time to make a dungeon more focused on the roles of each class and make it difficult to complete, I'm bored doing the same dungeons over and over and over again (and where the only strategy it's to gather all the CW you can), I prefer a dungeon that really makes you feel you did an achievement only only for having it completed...
