Damaran Shepherd + Ioun Stone of Allure??

The Damaran Shepherd's active bonus (+2% Crit Chance on summoned companion) does NOT seem to be affecting my summoned Ioun Stone of Allure, thus granting me the Crit Chance % as well...

Am I correct here or is it bugged and not showing? (Like Vorpal Severity %)

TIA

The +2% Crit chance only applies to an active companion with an attack. And only on the actual companion's attack.

One could argue that the +2% crit chance are applied to the stone (which IS a companion) which should transfer this status to you.

If it worked like that, I would like my +50% crit severity please (check the boar active bonus...).

Edit: and that is only a green companion; it can be upgraded 2 more times.

THAT is exactly why I ask...
No where in the rules I find/read that this bonus only affect companions that have an attack...

IMO opinion the crit sev bonus SHOULD apply to ANY companion that is summoned...

In which case I would immediately level a Boar XD

Though your/our assumptions seem to be logically impenetrable, given the real bugs and issues there are I doubt that anyone who has something to say will give much thought to this issue.
And there are already items out there that give +50% crit severity, so I can not see a problem there.
By using the vorpal you already decided to forgo that terror or some other stuff.

That severity also DOESN'T show up on my character sheet... I trust dev's don't lie  when they say the vorpal's severity bonus is in effect but it just doesn't show the bonus added on your character sheet...
Is there no actual way of finding out??

Which could in turn mean the bonusses we are talking about here are ALSO in effect... (e.g: Boar +50% & Shepherd +2%)

ATM I'm using a Lesser Vorpal (so only +12%) but I really don't see anything special... Maybe it's more obvious when using a Perfect??

Seems obvious when I'm getting hit by it :) But I agree, it would be nice if these things showed up on the sheet.

OK, now I would like some clarity...

I've been testing my Critical Strike damage on a dummy without a buff/bonus towards crit severity (like an equipped Vorpal and always without the Brutal Backstab feature).
After that test I've done it again but with an equipped Lesser Vorpal (+12% Crit Severity) from which the results are not making me happy at all...
(Perhaps someone with a Perfect Vorpal could also test these results??)

I've been testing it with Stealthed Lashing Blade which always crits and did this on an empty server (so no accidental buffs from others)
Here are the results listed: (each number represents an average of 5 critical strikes)

    (without vorpal)
    11,395 // 11,131 // 11,300 // 11,306 // 11,598 (=average over 25 hits: 11,346 crit dmg)

    (with lesser vorpal)
    11,883 // 12,020 // 12,051 // 11,985 // 11,582 (=average over 25 hits: 11,904 crit dmg)

Though there is a slight difference of 558 points over an average of 25 hits, this amount can also been seen between the seperate averages I've listed.
Seeing these numbers I'm afraid the +12% Critical Severity from my Lesser Vorpal IS NOT COUNTING!!

CAN ANYONE PLEASE CLARIFY THESE RESULTS??
Or perhaps even test it with and without a Perfect Vorpal??
