GF hitting me with Phaser beams from his shield

I've asked numerous people in game, no one seems to know. What is the enchantment or effect that looks like lasers shooting from a GF's shield. Driving me nuts lol

    Yep, Supremacy of Steel. I LOVE it. Awesome way to troll people when you are down to 25% health and they get reckless trying to finish you off. Last night I tanked two GWFs, all 3 of us were down to ~25% health, I popped Supremacy of Steel, hid behind my shield and they both killed themselves trying to breach my shield.
    PSA: You don't need to grind Spinward Rise for your Elemental artifact main hand if you have some AD lying around. You can craft it via the Tyranny of Dragon's campaign screen.

    theres another visual that looks like blue phaser beams as well, not supremacy of steel

    Well, there is a skill of GF named Knight´s Valor that creates a blue aura. This skill decrease 50% of the damage the party takes and the GF will take this amount of damage to him own. When somebody hits anybody of the group under Knight-s Valor, a blue image of a knight will appear in front of him and from this image a blue line will go to the GF, so he takes the damage intercepted. Maybe this is the blue phaser beams you talk about.

    Knights Challenge also has a beam of sorts doesn't it?

    Yes, a thin red one that goes from the GF to whomever/whatever he has challenged.

    If you see lasers of any kind coming from a GF, continue on, you're gonna be just fine :)
