Suggestion: Region based PVP matchmaking

This is for 2 reasons, one is to eliminate large disparities in ping, the other is because it's nice to be grouped with people who can understand what you are saying and typing to them. I don't want separate queues because if push comes to shove I would rather play with people who don't understand me than sit around waiting and not playing at all, but it would be nice if something could be implemented that made it more likely than not to end up in a match where everyone understands each other and lag doesn't help determine the outcome.

    Guess they could make this as an option you could select given that it could increases your wait time for a match considerably, but I doubt that they will find time to implement this in the near (or indeed far) future.

    Obviously the queue system has to take into account the ping. A match making using only the level and GS would be quite primitive. Ping is certainly not a negligible factor. You thought you had dodged a crit? Think better, you were killed half-a-second ago.
    Now there is onr thing that takes into account your gear, your skill and your ping, and this is the Elo.

    I would be shocked and awed if this game has the population to support this without multi-houred queue waits for a simple pvp match.

    I like it, during waiting I just farm Sharandar for blood to buy potions, +1 all stats are always nice and work well in PVP ;)

    They'd probably make this an option if there were enough people playing from different countries, but the overall community is based on world-wide participation, so it likely won't happen, ever. I speak Russian, for example, but I only occasionally see Russian players or guilds on, even during times when they would be more likely to be on.
