Will we ever have an account shared stash?

Have anyone ever feel vexed about having a Bound to Character item that your alts could actually use? Like say a spare Fallen Dragon/Dread Legion/Formorian Fabled Icon on your DC which could be put to better use on your alts Ioun Stone of Allure. Or having BoP offhand items that your fresh 60 alts could actually use. Sometimes it breaks my heart when I have to salvage these BoP offhand items when I ran out of inventory space. Would any of the devs kindly consider this small request from another player. :p

    I know is not priority but a housing system with shared stash like on champions online would be great!

    Even with the account stash in CO you can not transfer a Character Bound item to a different character. Such an item will simply refuse to go into the shared stash, just like you can't mail a Character Bound item to yourself in NW.

    Indeed. It would be an account bound item if you could. This is a problem caused by the greed of the majority of the player base not just here but in all games. I am sorry if I am not sympathetic but if you could pass over the best gear then everyone would need all of the time.

    personally I would remove the system and have no such drops and instead drop tokens/boons/coins that people could then use to buy the best gear with or better yet buy the ingredients to make the best gear with the profession skills. It would make dungeons/raids much more enjoyable. Everyone would get something out of it and it would bring and end to Ninja's who seem to think that everything is for them all the time.

    I don't really bother with dungeons myself but part of the reason is because of the greed. If you could pass gear on to alts this would be 100% worse which is exactly why you can not and will never be able to.

    Edit: Of course it is quite possible that these items are nothing to do with drops, in which case ignore what I have said. I'm all for a shared bank space so you can pass things over from alt to alt.

    That's what people are talking about. A shared stash would not be able to store Character Bound items (while Account Bound would be ok), and mostly be used as a way to ease transfer of items between alts without having to mess around with the "5 items per mail" limit.

    The main reason I think this is less likely to ever happen is the miniscule personal bank storage and inane price to increase per character (seriously, $6 for 16 slots for 1 character).

    That's why I thought we were talking about sending bop items, that and some of the referenced items by the op.

    No way will Neverwinter ever give you free space. Again it comes down to greed. Only this time the mass greed of PWE, I could see an option to buy something like this in the Zen store though. Now you mention it I'm surprised it is not already an option for something like $25+

    You can't Need on a class specific item that isn't your class.

    I played PWI and they sold for zen 1 account wide stash and they could do this for this game. It would make them money and wouldn't eliminate the need for character bank tabs.

    That said the fact that you can mail things for free would make this only a minor convenience.

    There won't ever be an account shared stash, I'm sure they feel the mailbox replaces this effectively. (especially since they let you leave items in the mail)

    You can buy an account wide stash if you have 150k AD, and are not in a guild as such.
    Just create a guild (might have to bribe 4 others with 2gp) and use the guild bank to have an account wide stash, that only guild members (=your toons) can access!

    And it's cheaper than the Bank stuff, too!
