Cannot equip second artifact

Okay so i just spent 8 hours doing PVP to get the glory artifact (Bloodcrystal Raven Skull) and when I go to equip it I get a message saying I cannot equip more than 1 of that item!

Why is that? And more importantly, if I'm not aloud to have two why did it let my waste 24,000 glory buying it? I haven't seen anywhere that says I cannot have two equipped.

So now I have lost 24k glory and stuck with an item I cannot sell or use. I wouldn't mind as much only I hate PVP and did not enjoy grinding through it to get an item that I cannot use.

It wouldn't be hard to have put a message up somewhere or the gray it out once you had one so you know not to bother again. And if anyone is asking why I want two, for the stat bonuses obviously as it doesn't look like I'm getting one of the other non quest ones anytime soon.

Any chance of changing this, or at least allow me to sell it back to the glory vendor?

    I would also love to have an answer to this. I"m grinding out my 24k glory at the moment, and I'm enjoying it about as much as drinking a pint of Buckley's...

    So...you've already got one Bloodcrystal Raven Skull and you want to equip another BRS??

    Did you read anything, anywhere that somehow led you to believe you could stack artifacts????

    From graalx3 System Designer: "You will also be limited to equipping only 1 artifact of a specific type. For example. you will only be allowed to equip one Lantern of Revalation."

    You can still get one use out of it. Use it for refining points on another artifact. Would work best with another artifact of power as you will get a multiplier that way.

    Raise a power artifact to rank 59 before feeding it to another power artifact. This is the point at which you get the highest return after factoring in the bonus for same type, diminishing return in rp, and cost of reagents for upgrading.

    What percentage of players read the forums? I've only just started reading them after 6 months of play. I shouldn't have to read forums to find out what I can and can't do. A simple popup box would suffice before purchase like "you can only have one of these items equipped". Kind of like they put one up if you use a valuable item in refining.

    Thanks for the other useful suggestions I will look into them.

    Do you really need everything handed to you on a silver platter and your hand held all day. Should we send someone over to click your mouse while you play. Don't you think it would behove you to do some reading when a new item or system comes along before you starting using it? In any case follow the advice of the others and use it later on to upgrade one of your other artefacts.

    Have you ever played any other MMOs? I can't recall any that ever allowed you to "stack" same type-of, let alone identical item effects. The game has lots and lots of bugs and occasional poor design choices - prudence is always the best choice. They can't always foresee every interaction.

    I wish I was in your shoes. I know you are upset, but look at the bright side...you have a huge pool of RP waiting to be used once you get your second BRS up to level 59. There are numerous players that grind PVP just for that.
