Devs it is time to fix the exploits in instances

Yesterday I was in an instance 3 times and in each instance they wanted to jump at a certain point to bypass mobs and get to the boss. I had no clue how or where to jump (I dont cheat) and when I would not exploit the system I would get kicked from the group.

It is pretty sad when knowing how and where to exploit an instance is almost a requirement in instances you have a problem. For those of us that do not want or care to exploit it sucks to waste x amount of time only to get kicked because we will NOT CHEAT.

This seems to be the ONLY game where not cheating is frowned upon and can get you kicked from a group. Also I should NOT HAVE to find a group that will not cheat just to run a Dungeon Delve FYI. This could be very easily fixed if the Devs actually did something about it.

Please fix now Thanks

Have you tried joining the Neverwinter legit community , apparently they do dungeons without ever using exploits and cheats , i keep meaning to join myself , go check them out here - http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?517081-NW_Legit_Community-celebrates-over-800-members!

Other option is to find a legit guild to play with. Sometimes it is hard to find pugs not trying to exploit glitches: the worst at the moment is ToS where every 9 out of 10 groups want to glitch last boss.

NW_Legit_Community is legit. I've always ended up with a great group with no exploiting.

The OP 's point I beleive is: You should not have to search for legitimate players that won't abuse a game mechanic that is pourly designed. Instead of having game designer work to fix the issue you are asking players to spend time to find players that want to play the game as intended. While game designer have no intention to have you play as intended.

What u saying is what many people already said since close beta, lol can u believe there's bosses that can be exploitable since close beta ?? Impressive isnt it ? I already gave up from reporting exploits on foruns, ingame or via PM... they just dont give a ****.

The NW_Legit_Community and non exploitable guilds is just away to avoid groups that exploit dungeons but that doesnt fix any of the real problems and for the majority of people they will keep dealing with those kind of groups all the time.

I feel your pain because I was in that boat before I created a guild. It was frustrating to see my first couple PUGs dominated by glitches. Genocidal Tendencies is legit for life.

+1 for the opening post. At the moment playing fair is punished (you get insulted and left out- or kicked from groups) while cheating is rewarded (can run instances much faster --> higher income). Joining a fair-play guild is a very unsatisfying containment: it feels like the police telling you, after your house has been robbed for the 10th time, "please move to another country, we don't feel like chasing the criminals". If an exploit is new, I fully understand that it has not been fixed yet, but some exploits are so old that I wonder if they get the proper priority.

Talking specifically about exploits is against forum rules.

To OP: Not fighting every mob in a dungeon isn't exploiting. There are places where it looks like it was designed as a secret bypass to save you the trouble of a few groups. Exploiting bosses like the final one in ToS is cheating, finding a way to not fight every mob in a dungeon is not cheating.

Yeah, there were always bugs and tricks for a long time, but luckily most of those have been stomped out by now.

At the same time, it seems teams don't really need them.

With artifacts, Pets, and all the other goodies we have now, running a T2 is often a ROLFStomping excersize. With some decent gear and coordination, they are by-in-large, easy.

So what's the point anyway? most of the time, fighting it straight up is both faster and easier. Just walk in and smash.

But if it's just skipping trash mobs and not glitching a boss, i don't see what is the problem with that. Killing trash is largely a waste of time, as you get absolutely nothing for it. I think of avoiding trash as smart, not exploiting.

Skipping trash isn't exploiting, walk-jumping up and through walls is as is using a certain CW ability to basically make a certain boss a loot pinyata

Knocking mobs off a ledge = environmental awareness. Nothing wrong with using it. If they can knock you off, why not return the favor? :)

As chemboy613 said, you can just clear adds with a good group and it goes faster. However, those ledges work wonders if your group has a lower average gear score.

I never said skipping all mobs was an exploit... Yet when you are asked to jump up and over an unintended area to miss said mobs and you can't figure it our or will not do it you get kicked. Trust me when I say this one was jumping to a point and then falling/jumping through a wall to get to a point that is past mobs it is an exploit.

the discussion of exploits is against the forum rules. if you see someone cheating/exploiting or if you have information about an exploit, please report it using the in-game report option (press H and then choose GM help), use the support website or by sending an email to customerservice@perfectworld.com. bringing it here to the forums is counterproductive as we do not allow naming/shaming of individuals and it adds to the spread of exploit information.

if you have further questions, please refer to the forum rules of conduct or you may also PM me or any of the other forum moderators.

    thank you!
