well i used to get loot from end boss (not junk loot) like good armor or something every 15 runs. yes too much runs but u get something. after patch i dont get anything. i was farming sp for the last 3 days - did 12 runs at least - and we didnt find any boss loot. i dont mean i didnt get anything i mean in 12 runs no helmet drops. nothing. only junk waist girdle that worth nothing.
so is cryptic finally found the way for us to not have ad by tweaking the drop rate of end boss loot ???
well it is consistent with vt bop loot. didnt we had some understanding that end boss loot is not bop ???

(please dont comment on english, this is game forum chat not english literature course)

When do you think they made this stealth change?

There has been less then a skeleton crew on staff for the last two weeks, due to holiday break. We have not had any game changes or patches for the last two weeks, as well. Simply maintenance restarts.

So, are you suggesting they are tweaking game play elements, on the fly, without a patch, and with minimal staff on hand?

Perhaps, a more reasonable explanation is simply, random is random.

it always been like that... i dont recall ever to have been a good drop chance for anything apart a bug that gave free mounts from lockboxes ^^

I've had the same (worst) luck lately, but as others have said, I don't know when they would have made the suggested change, so it's all probably just RNG being what it is.

I think they increased the BoE T2 drop rates. I've seen a lot more T2 unbound items lately. Like one every 3 runs at most.

Random is random. I agree with sock monkey. I run dungeons all the time and sometimes the loot is awful and the other times you get a run of lucky drops.

This rng is the mostly commonly ________ about thing in any mmo. Sometimes the gods of random love you and sometimes they hate you. I know someone that was on 200 runs of a raid to get a piece of gear in another game but hadn't gotten it yet because the gods of random hated him.

And its reasons like this why I think a gear drop in a dungeon should be bonus. Dungeon runs should reward some sort of currency to trade with a specific vendor for to get the gear of choice. (And in NWN, without tweaking the DD)
