  look in your bags. I thought the same thing as only a couple got applied. the others are in your bag and have to open them.

  about that. what's the deal. i haven't traded any of mines in but people are claiming that the first one you buy will always open but if you stay on the same screen and buy multiples they will not?
  that means if you want the shower of lights in a huge batch and tradable you need to trade the stars in on the last day or you'll end up opening each time you buy your first one.

  Yeah freaked me out too -- I sold 10 stars and got 220 lights (...and 9 Shower of Lights). D'oh!.
  
  If they'd have done ALL of one or the other it would have been fine.

  So i exchanged 10 star of fortune and only got 220 lights of simril but when i exchange the star of fortune 1 by 1 i got 220 lights too. I wonder if anyone els had the same problem too?

  . . .Check your inventory folks. It sounds like when buying more than one at a time, only the first claimed one is opened for you. You may need to open the rest manually. I'll check preview and see what's up, if this latest update is patched to preview already. I don't want to mess with my Stars on live (I need Mimics!).

  I must be stupid or something - I see no option on the tarmalune bar shop to exchange stars for lights. All I see is 45 trade bars for one star. Am I missing something here?

  Go to the merchant in the event area not the bar merch.

  . . .Aye, the same lady that sells the Fawn trades Stars for a bag of lights. The "Simril Store" right by the large campfire in the Winter Festival zone.
