[Quest] Unsettling Rumors

I am playing a half-orc ranger and I believe this is a quest for half-orcs only.

The quest Unsettling Rumors in the Tower District is not counting kills of the intended targets.

I keep killing Spellscarred Orcs for this mission (one set towards the beginning of the circle near a hollowed out house and another towards the back of the blue circle by the Religion Profession node statue) within the designated area (in fact I've killed everything in the designated area multiple times over), but am not getting credit for this quest.

    That's what I was thinking, but those are actually "Spellscared Drudge" and not the "Spellscarred Orc" that the quest calls for.
    And, like you, I've killed everything, and can't locate the "Spellscarred Orc" in the designated area, or anywhere on the map.

    Interesting. I successfully completed this with a half-orc ranger on Mimic, but I can't recall exactly how, and I don't know if they tweaked anything since I did it.

    Have you tried killing the spellscarred champions (caster types) instead of the minions? It might take you outside the quest circle, but Tower was one of the areas worked over for the module launch and there may have been oversights.

    I've been unable to get credit for this as well despite having slain multiple orcs with the word "Spellscarred" in their name.

    So I logged back in this morning and tried again. I was able to earn credit for killing a spellscarred orc this time (I think it was a drudge). Just to be clear, last night I was definitely inside the designated area on the map where I should have been able to find orcs that gave me credit. Anyway, not sure if the length of time I was logged out or just the logging itself made the difference, but hopefully this info helps others in the future or PWE fixes the issue.
