I cannot see this happening and if it does actually happen, then it must be a total seperate version of the game.

You should have posted this or the link in the first place xD , but yeah if Neverwinter comes to ps4 and it's the same version on the same servers we play on that'll be super cool , then I can play it from my sofa or bed and not have to sit in front of my desktop anymore .
Why? There is even a config for Xpadder stickied at the top of a forum.....
That is because way back in the days when Cryptic only had Champions, before it was even called Champions. Cryptic was going to release it as a Marvel game and also on the Xbox. At some point mid development, for reasons never really explained. Both Marvel and Microsoft parted ways with Cryptic. Leaving Cryptic with a half finished game and no license, and no further support from Microsoft. However, a lot of the old coding still remains and because all Cryptic games share the same engine. It is basically legacy programing that has carried through.
Considering the history and drama that Cryptic has had to deal with, on their one try at PC/Console MMO. I honestly would be shocked to see them trying it again. And on a completely different platform. It just seems, rather unlikely.
mmo's on consoles have been horrible everytime. Communication is huge on mmo's and consoles limited ability to type means that the player is hampered by this. Two thumbs down on the whole idea. Every mmo on a console is one to stay away from.

Yeah. I don't use the ingame voice chat in NW so typing is the only form of communication when I'm not running with friends/guildies over raidcall or Teamspeak.

running in a party is only a small party of it. (and the in game client is horrible)
Trade chat -- fail on a console
LFG chat -- fail on a console
Custom Chat channel -- fail on a console
Guild chat -- fail on a console
Good guilds/groups will be using vent/teamspeak/mumble/etc so unless there is something I'm not aware of with the ps4 that means you have to have a computer near you anyways.
There is no single part of the idea of porting it to a console that is a good idea.
