I just got Throw Caution and have no idea how it works. The tooltip is about as vague as a tooltip can get. So far, when I use it, I do not see my defenses being decreased. So how does this work?

It's a simple power: It gives you a damage buff for a short amount of time at the expense of getting a damage resistance debuff. It doesn't alter your stats. You'll just take a lot more damage if you get hit.

Its pretty straight forward. Its similar to the GWF battle fury ability. except with a debuff and no stamina gain but lasts longer.

Does anyone know the specific numbers? How much of a damage buff? How much of a damage resistance debuff? How long does it last?
Basically during the preview cycle Throw was nerfed and now only Split is worth the points. But split is worth the points even for melee builds; fire split and watch it proc as you fight in the rain.
Obsidian Moonlight - Paladin Obsidian Oath - Warlock A whole lot of other Obsidian toons as well.
