Not sure why level 60s would be farming low level contests; the payoff is much better in the higher level zones (rank 4 vs. rank 1 or 2 enchants)

Yeah, while I can see how this is frustrating for at-level players, it seems like a really silly way to farm enchantments. You have to hang out through the entire contest duration, and you get rewarded with what? A handful of Rank 2s? You'd get more refining points looting a couple of nodes in Sharandar.
Because there are a couple of quests tied to contest participation, I don't think they should be disabled for higher level players. I've gone back and picked off my "do the relic hunt" while massively outlevelled for the Tower zone, though I just grabbed one relic and turned it in.
Contest rewards are by instance, which means your score resets if you change instances, but it does give you the option of finding yourself one with minimal competition.

Could very well be the farmers just want to mess stuff up for lowbies. Have seen this in other MMO's: in one, high level toons camped the starter area for the opposition. They would kill new toons as they initially came into the game. Yeah, it's sociopathic.
PW/Cryptic: please zap these individuals into chickens, and allow us to target and kill them. On death, they should drop a new food item: fried chicken. Possibly even open a new title: Chicken Slayer :-)

First saw it in Helms Hold, and that is the point where you start to get greens which always scales with the bracket (gold silver bronze). So, taking first, you can get 5 or 6 greens, not bad for 10 minutes work.
No you dont have to be there the whole time, 50% of the time would do fine with certain ones.
Of course if it was an issue of 10 High levels all doing this, well they are hurting themselves too - what only 5 real places?
I saw two in Helms hold that day, so they both got decent first and second.
Again having been a long time gamer seeing all the forms of greif, Cryptic just jump on this, its such a simple fix.
