Dread Legion GWF set: questions

I was interested in this set. Needless to say, Valindra is though if you're not in a guild and run VT with pugs.
I ran it like just 5 times so far and got a dead dragon off-hand from the bone boss before Valindra. I don't have even started to level weaponsmithing, and even once i'll be done crafting the dead dragon set, i'd still want the dread legion set for PvP (the damage difference is limited, and i like the crit and lifesteal bonus of the DL set more), while trying to use the dead dragon set for PvE (little more damage and the GS-obsessed guys will be happy when they see i have BiS weapon set).
The questions are:

- Anyone got the greatsword/ sword knot so far?
- How does the Greatsword of the dread Legion look like?
- More important: is it possiblre to drop these babies from the bone boss, or do i have to defeat Val everytime to get have a chance to get them?

    dread legion greatsword looks exacly like weapon that Dread Protectors(mobs in dread ring) use

    That's the one you have to forge with level 20 Weaponsmithing, right?

    no thats the one that drops from valindra's tower, the weapon smithing one is a sword

    Was curious about this myself. I'm looking for the DL Offhand to go with the crafted Greatsword. Anyone know which boss it drops from? Valindra or Bone boss?

    actually, the DL off hand drops from the chest. Sadly, the chest is bugged to its core now :/

    The offhand drops from the first boss. Hence the 1/2 farms.
