Currently thinking about a terror or vorpal enchantment, but since i have pretty limited AD, i cant really afford to throw away 600k just to realise i should have bought something els:)
So yeah any advice? And currently i play 80% pve and 20 % pvp if that matters:)

Normal vorpal+ for PvP/PvE probably best. Bigger crits, more damage, more burst capability. Plaguefire/Terror is also cool if you want to help the party with an additional debuff. You might not do so much damage as vorpal CWs though, if you care about that.

Okay thanks, one more thing btw just bought 4 lesser vorpals and a coal Wards, and was about to infuse them when i started to Wonder about the new enchantment system... Would it be cheaper to wait with the infusing after module 2 or cheaper now?

I'm not 100% sure, but in the new system you can:
- make 2 Normals from the 4 Lessers you have now, from 2 Normals you can refine a Greater later on...
- it will take 2 Coals
- it will also take 2xsome reagent, Greater Mark of *** something
- you will also need to feed some serious number of vorpal shards (faster) into each lesser you upgrade or you could take your time and feed the with lower level runestones of all sorts and whatever refining stones you will find
Best way is to copy your char and test things up. I personally heavily dislike both systems.

IIRC, Terror only procs from the At-Wills. Therefore we use it on GWF/GFs.

Given you already have the Lessers, you save at least the equivalent of one Lesser under Refinement if Shard prices and cost of Greater Mark of Potency (100,000 AD) remains the same. However, shard prices are likely to rise substantially under Refinement because there will always be a continuous use for them.
So, buy up 16x cheapest non-Vorpal weapon shards now, if you have the 100k capital for Greater Mark of Potency.
As you have limited ad, may we know how much? 100k? 500k? 1M?
If you only have 100k, then you may be better off combining it to a normal vorpal now, but it will cost you more later on if you want to upgrade to greater vorpal.
Assuming you will want to upgrade to greater vorpal later, then best to wait for module 2, and get any unneeded shards/enchantments/runestones and refining stones that you pick up from dungeons/quests, and use them as refining points to slowly upgrade the 4 lessers to 2 normal, and eventually the 2 normals to a greater. Each time you upgrade you'll need a coal ward, so keep that in mind, you can try your luck with the coffers, or have to buy them.
As mentioned, upgrading requires catalysts @100k each (which I think can drop from dungeon bosses too), fusing from normal to greater, you'll need 2 of this.
Also note you can slot a lesser vorpal in your orb now, and refine that while it's slotted. You can also remove it with gold (2.50 if it's unchanged when m2 becomes live) if you wish to take it out.
Have the gear and skills, but lack the friends to play with? Come and apply for Essence of Aggression. We have been here and strong since beta. (Immature, rude, and arrogant people will not be accepted)

There is something I am wondering about: Is this still valid with the fixed PF?
I ask mostly because I'm not sure if the resistance debuff of PF will stack also 3 times. Because if it does, I don't know why Vorpal is supposed to be better.
Example: Icy Rays does non-crit 5000 damage (simplified). Default crit severity is 75%, so a crit would result in 5000 * 1,75 = 8750 damage.
With a normal Vorpal (+25% crit severity), it would be 5000 * 2,00 = 10000 damage.
But if the -30% resistance debuff (-10% of normal PF * 3 (IF it stacks)) is applied before Icy Rays (which isn't difficult with a DoT), a crit would result in: 8750 * 1,3 = 11141.
Or am I missing something?
I am running an oppressor on PvP gear with Plaguefire and it's amazing. Wouldn't change it for vorpal.
My PvE setup is tabbed Icy terrain (constantly active with PvP gear), Conduit of Ice,Chill Stike,Steal Time with Chilling Cloud and Ray of Ice (passives Storm Spell/Eye of the Storm). The damage is good and the CC is amazing. Plague fire also rocks with Icy terrain.
Think about Plaguefire, because I think it's a very underrated enchantment usually overshadowed by cheesy Vorpal.
P.S: In PvP it's fun to click RoI and dismount people
plague is fixed, its only defense it reduces not mitigation. Also it doesnt seem to proc stormspell anymore from my preview tests.
I would say plague fire and vorpal are pretty equal. you would do roughly 8% more damage with greater vorpal, but your team will all gain extra 9%. so its a toss up. Also plaguefire is alot more useful in pvp than it is pve. You cannot go wrong with either tbh!

Are you refering to Greater PF? I thought that greater wasn't working since it didn't stack to 3 debuffs but only one.
As far as the utility of PF agaist vorpal, I would agree that they are both useful, but really, PF is so much better for your party that it simply can't compare. If a CW wants to come up on top of charts then I guess farming for Perfect Vorpal is the way to go. However, boosting the party's damage and doing more than enough damage yourself...then PF is what you'll need.
I will verify that PF doesn't Proc Storm Spell but Icy terrain really makes the difference in PF/Storm Spell. Especially the tabbed PvP version actually means "fully debuffed group of mobs that will eventually freeze if tanked well for your party to feast upon".
It's not a lot more useful actually, it's just different.
a) Click Ray of Ice and you insta dismount someone.
b) It's actually much better when you are fighting Regen people since the damage lingers and you also debuff their Defense.
But you can't really argue with G.Vorpal of P.Vorpal's lolcrits.
in pvp because of the high defense some people have, namely those pesky GFs and GWFs. and supposedly the 3 stacks works on previvew, i havent done any extensive tests though, but someone else posted that it was working.
IIRC, Terror only procs from the At-Wills. Therefore we use it on GWF/GFs.
I just tested a normal Terror with shard, EF, CoI and CS (mastery). It applied the debuff on each power. CoI continuously refreshed it as well. This was on live server, in Sharandar over the course of several fights.
"We have always been at war with Dread Vault" ~ Little Brother
GPF appears to be working based on my very brief test. Damage against Target Dummy with 3 GPF stacks was increased by ~9%. Yay!
Great. Right now I am convinced that Plaguefire is the best weapon enchantment for PvE CWs. I am unsure about best for PvP, since I put my money on Vorpal for doing the job faster.
However, I am loving the build with Icy terrain for fully debuffed mobs constantly while the dots are ticking.

O_o Thank you for the information. I'm going to double check that.

Very interesting to know about PF.
I suppose I cannot be but happy when other CWs have it :P Makes my murdering mobs job even easier.
But it's hard for me to give up on my nice vorpal. It makes all the sense in the world for me as a former WoW fire mage, with the big crits and everything
