With the new class coming out and being so detailed the Fighter classes have Paragons swapped seems really really lazy. There is a LOT of more paragons available.
<I'm sorry ahead of time if this is beaten to a dead horse, I've spent a lot of money on this game because its FR first and DnD second and to see something huge be slapdash feels like a slap in the face as a consumer>.

I agree that the fighters' paragon paths being available to each other is not of much interest to me. The GF particularly, who I feel needs *better* aggro management tools, is instead getting a DPS-focused path? I would have liked to see something more "controllery".

Good to hear someone else feels the same. In PHB1 Fighter Paragons also included Kensei & Pit Fighter. Those should have been introduced instead of the flip flopping.
Pit Fighter
“I fight dirty, and I fight to win.”
You have learned to fight in dungeons and brawling
pits, picking up every survival trick along the way. It
might not be the prettiest or most elegant fighting style
around, but it gets the job done.
Kensei
“My weapon and I are as one.”
You study an ancient form of martial training that
makes you one with your chosen weapon, creating
a combination of destruction that few foes can long
stand against.
Just pointing out that they probably aren't specifically gimping the two fighter classes, it's just that they're the only classes that are the same, well class, once they come out with (for example) a "Blaster Wizard" it will most likely share paragon paths with the Control Wizard.
Personally I kinda think they should of had our current classes called builds or something so when you made a character had you pick a class then a build. So you'd choose Fighter, then pick from Guardian or Great Weapon, like how people that got the feywild pack click "High Elf" then choose between the Moon and Sun Elves,
