PvP que system.

I have been wondering for a while now why there hasen't been implanted a que system for Premades/groups or even for solo queing"

So that comes too my question: why havent there been added a new que system for "older" players?

Would be really easy for the Devs too add the requirments too have a full group of 5 people with a gear score of 9200 in order too enter "5v5, 3v3 pvp " a new pvp instance with the same battlegrounds.

New players and "useless" pugs are sick of playing against people who have been farming since beta or early game or even just P2W.

I am very sure alot of the oldschool players would play more active then.

This is just an idea so please come up with feedback about this idea or new ideas.

Since I instantly quit against premades, I voted "yes". Too few people on those maps to try to do anything as a pug vs a premade. If it was 10vs10, yeap, there would be some sense.

Absolutely a separate queue for premades. Moreover, if you're a premade, you should not be allowed to queue in the PUG queue.

I mean untill people are 9.2k gs and not even high enugh rank they should not meet people with 12k-15k gs.

It's lame against the new players and everyone.

By the time u got ur boons rdy and all pvp gear you should be 9k+ gs.

But like when you meet GWF with 5.6k gs and you have 14k gs its kinda pointless.

Any decent player are able too fight 2-3 pugs easily without losing 50% hp.

There should be 3 ques imo. A solo only que. A 2-4man que. And a 5man que. This way if u don't want to fight premades or you only want to play with friends u won't be in pain. And the premades won't have to do 4hours of pugs to find a match

All this thread has told me is there are currently 2 people that are HAMSTER in this game. Either that or major trolls.

    The que system is easy.

    1) Create a RANK system. (A pvp "level" would work just fine. Win and gain xp to gain levels, lose and lose xp based on the enemies. YOu can lose levels as well)

    2) Create a que based on rank system.

    3) Leave the option to que non-ranked matches.

    DONE.

Then players who just want casual games can que with anybody. Players who want exciting good matches que ranked and then have their rank affected accordingly. Only based on wins/losses imo.

Ranked pugs trying to que vs a premade makes for even more pug rage. Because now they are actually losing something

Atleast youll have good matches though. That just the nature of the game man... Its not like its pug stomp, since they will be relatively ssame "level" in pvp... I cant tell you how many times ive gone against premades and won with decent pugs...

is there a disadvantage? sure, thats the same with all types of MM games like that... Its the way of life in competitive play.

Yes, a new queue system is needed. While it can be fun to queue with one or two others and beat a premade once in awhile, it's no fun to be the only geared person with a bunch of 5k enchantless people on one side. A separate queue system for parties of 1-3 and parties of 4-5 would be great. The 1-3 queue would put people in 5v5 matches, and then 4-5 queue would organize 4v4 or 5v5 games.

I'd also LOVE to queue with players who don't do stuff like "omg let's all go kill the sentinel at home point!" or "hey guys! at the start of the match let's send three people to the close point!" So, a PVP XP system interests me, but letting people lose levels could be problematic as it might remove the incentive to PVP. Maybe something like LoL could be implemented where you can only drop a "level" if you are inactive (i.e. don't queue for pvp) for a certain amount of time? It needs some thought but the basic idea sounds ok to me. I'd also like some unlockable cosmetic items, scoreboard banners, or special mounts at different levels just to have another carrot to chase while playing. You also have to have a system for processing quitters (currently there is no penalty and people can leave whenever they feel like. For example, I will never play games against one specific guild or I will leave matches if I notice a player "help" another player cap a point that is not being contested, etc. While I enjoy the ability to go as I please, it's probably not the best system).

up. don't let post die. so devs see it and give us premade Q, hopefully ranked too

..........mod note: bumping is not allowed. continuing to do so will get a thread locked. you are encouraged to continue to discuss within the topic rather than just post for the sake of bumping. thanks.

The issue with NON-zero sum games is that they allow boosting. The goal of pvp level isnt to get everyone to max level. Its to have a ranking system. If you allow non-de-leveling then you will have players who cant get above X level, get some buddies to que against him and throw matches, because it doesnt cost tthem anything to do that.

Maybe the system would be forgviging enough to where BEFORE the match starts, it would let you leave at no cost, that way if you get players you hate, or a bad team makeup etc, you can leave.

Leaving MID-match would then count as a loss.

Also some sort of score based XP thing as well, not individual but group play. Maybe like a modifier for XP loss.

If a game is won by 40 points, the winning team can win XP but the losing team wont lose much...

if the game is won by 900 points, people lose ALOT of points, basically giving incentive to play the game, rather than leaving if your down 100 points at the beginning.

With the free leave period at the beginning that should take care of 90%+ of issues that you mentioned. Obviously you get a geared player whose horrible, but ideally at higher levels people will understand how to play.

If you see a PVP lvl 50 player, you know its because hes good, not just because he played long enough with a no de-rank system to get that lvl....

Also I like the idea of 1-3 que and 4+ que. Could be added as well... The level system would help ALOT of matchmaking, I think even just a "challenge" option under the character options which you would form two groups, press challenge and it puts you in the pvp que versus eachother, if pugs are needed it can fill that with random que - all taking into consideration the pvp lvls....

Kinda, but it's a vicious circle of despair and confusion when puggie-go-likely joins a ranked match with mix set or t1 pvp and finds out everything he has is countered.

The attitude leans more towards Pink slip than the current hit-and-hope queue system, but over time segregation leads to frustration and the exclusion.

As an example, I've met player/s/myself that do not really play well, then I see a gear change and the player plays better (same @handle).

As much as I favour competitive matches without a prize higher than blue it isn't really incentivized to have segregated queues, apart from the "solo queue / group queue" (which might lead to less matches during off-peak hours). If it was ladder system there might be an occassion whereby a Best in class avatar joins the ranking system queue and no one his/her level is online in the queue at that moment.

    But I voted yes...

A new que system wouldn't be hard too implant.

Ive heard rumors that there will be alot of new pvp stuff around february but meanwhile for M2 implanting something easy.

I tried playing 10 pug games yday and in 9/10 games there was 1-4 leavers.

Pugs obviously ain't liking the system and me just trying too have 1 quality game after work when i don't have time for setting up a drafting inhouse game...
