I have a small wishlist of items in no particular order that I would like to see for Neverwinter in maybe the not too distant future.
1: Build Buttons, like Champions has. No, not having dual spec trees or something like that, but build buttons where I can swap out my abilities in a preset location, like how Champions has but has no use for because the entire power system with 14 button power tray made the 14 power limit kind of pointless. So yea, 2 or 3 build buttons would work, that way I can have a dungeon set up, a PvE set up and a PvP (if I ever feel inclined) without having to open my powers window every single time to swap abilities around.
2: Shifter Race: Stat wise could just be a choice between Longtooth (+2 Strength and Wisdom) and Razorclaw (+2 Dexterity and Wisdom). Their racial ability, which would be based on their type they choose, would be if they drop to about 30% health, their shift engages. Longtooth Shifters gain a small regen and damage boost for a short time, and Razorclaw gain a small movement rate and defense increase. This of course can only be triggered once every say 30 seconds? They would have animalistic characteristics of course, prone to wearing foot coverings (not socks) instead of shoes, etc. Remidner of their appearance
Shifter Appearance
3: Paladin Class: I want the paladin class honestly. I see something that will probably end up mixing the warrior with the cleric in a warrior that uses divine power and probably more team oriented defensive powers over all, and aggression tools designed to deal damage in 4e. More spike shield than anything. The paladin would probably also use either a two handed flail or flail and holy book, with shift providing a divine shield to attacks of course.
4: Dragonborn Race: If I don't suggest it I know a couple of people that would shoot me. For racial stats I would suggest (+2 Charisma, Strength or Intelligence). They get a small defense against DoT damage attacks and healing effects get a small increase when they use them due to Draconic Heritage. I don't know how to handle the dragon breath other than to make it a special encounter power that players can opt to use in lieu of one of their slotted encounter powers. Some people like that style.
Dragonborn Appearance
5: Racial Paragon Paths: Because I like adding that extra complexity, but the racial paragon paths are really cool in the PHB2 and would be interesting to see them added.
6: Mentoring: This one baffles me to know end the fact that every previous Cryptic game had this, but Neverwinter doesn't; the ability to lower my level to match that of my comrades with stats and gear lowering appropriately to match. Why is this not in game, because it irks me to no end that I can't join friends for fear of robbing them of XP or the fact I can't even join them on their skirmishes or dungeon runs. This should be added.
7: Race Change Token: Nothing fancy, just the ability to change my character race. More races I hope will be added and I am not into alting all that much, so I don't think I should be punished because a race that I want to play as comes out after the fact. Could allow us to change appearance, select which of the ability stats we want for our character, and be done with it there. The old race ability scores would be replaced but nothing else changes.
Anyways my suggestions things I want to see for sure.

I wish for more zones through the leveling process, so that rolling and leveling alts isn't so repetitive.
Example: A player could go to Blacklake district or 'X' district/zone, Tower district or 'Y' district/zone.
then they'll probably throw it at you as rough astral diamonds for the lulz
1 - Lower the costs of upgrading companions
2 - Lower the costs of upgrading mounts
3 - Balance and matchmaking in pvp
4 - Battle cleric and paladin too
5 - Lower the costs of upgrading companions again
6 - Lower the costs of upgrading mounts again
One last thing to make this game perfect for me:
Option/mode/server of solo endgame dungeons&content (catering for RPG players)
-Not so linear maps, I wish new maps had more things around, not every area has to be just for quests, throw random stuff here and there.
-OR logic for the foundry, making foundry quests less linear aswell. give us options!
-Maps that connect the different areas, to me there's nothing less immersive than getting to PE's gates then to the "world map" then to another area. Adding areas in between PE and the rest would make it much more fun and immersive, even if it would still use instanced maps. Hell, even we users could make those maps, make a contest and the best maps get added to the game.
-Swimming! I can't tell you how important this is for me, probably others think it's dumb, but I like to do stuff besides killing mobs and questing all the time. It can be just surface swimming that would just require an animation change, or full fledged swimming below the water that would be awesome and also would open up new possibilities for quests (like finding stuff on the bottom of lakes or etc)
-More calm music for the foundry, not all foundry quests are about killing enemies, and there's little choice in non combat music, (mainly the 3 working tavern themes PE's music and one more) Again if you don't want to spend money/resources in this you could also make a contest, I would gladly make some themes for the game to be used if you wanted.
I know what I want has probably nothing to do with what others might want, but still I know there are others who would also like this.
The ability to customize our characters and Companions as much as we can in STO
The ability to use more than one companion (let us build a dungeon party like in Baldurs gate) No this wont effect grouping because folks who use this don't group that much anyway or will do both.
The ability to invite certain people to a private module.
Auto dismount at vendors and the AH
The ability to sit in chairs.
More assets for Foundry
More clothing besides this lame noble regalia HAMSTER.
Agree with most/all above, plus
- Un-bind Companions, so they are sellable in the AH, that way if you do spend AD leveling up your CD for instance, then decide to go for a cat/stone later, you can at least recoup some of the investment, and maybe help out a wealthy but low level player.
-Make the companion leveling worth while, actually give them better abilities at higher levels, not just extra slots.
-Customizable companions ... It gets a little boring seeing the same CD in PE, their is sometimes hundreds of clones of her running around, even if only basic sex change and hair/armor/clothes colour.
- A White or Silver dye bottle!!!! I want my Paladin (he's a Paladin in my mind) to look super virtuous and pure, so he needs some white/silver gear.
- Fix the **** vendors in PE so that they have gear I can actually use and might actually want to buy!!! ATM there is almost nothing worth buying! Either it's leveled to low/high for my toon, or you get better items from random drops on a map!
-Either get rid of Seals altogether or actually make the gear worth owning/exclusive.
And +1000 to lowering the cost of companions upgrades or make them use Gold instead of AD (at least that would make gold useful in game)
Mount/companion upgrade prices. Why grind for tier 1 event mounts when it costs more to upgrade them to tier 3 than to just buy an account wide tier 3 mount?
More adventure zones with an option to slow down leveling. People could continue at the current pace or slow down to run all the new content at level, with the option to switch back and forth as desired. Some want to race through the leveling, I'd rather experience it longer. (this is pretty unlikely but one can wish)
Mount and fashion tabs. Midsummer Festival had mounts and fashion items, Mask of Liars had fashion items, Waukeen had fashion items, Feywild pack has fashion items and mount, Neverwinter pack has mount. It takes a lot of the joy out of running around doing events when I've got three tier 3 mounts available for every character and never enough bag space. Through in the event mounts and the fashion items and it just gets frustrating. I want to do the events but... Some people have suggested mount skins which seems like a good idea, if the skin went into a catalog of skins and your mount speed was fixed at the level of the fastest mount you'd acquired.
Transmutation armor from events and reasonable prices on the stuff from the Bazaar. There are a number of items that are suitable for transmutation available in the questline, but they're random drops and some are BOP. Apart from trying to trade in bounty markers for treasure caches or running with low level chars, they're lost forever if they don't drop or you didn't think to save them, or didn't win the roll.
O yeah mate it truly is, but i tell everone that my wife bought it for me as a get well present . Its true, I do.
Seals - All of them. (been covered, I know) By the time you get enough Bounty items to turn in for them, your way past their usefulness. Make them tradeable, sellable, transferable, or something.
Daily Dungeon - All I can say is that one can only do the Dread Vault so many times....
Gold/Silver/Copper - How about an exchange for AD or Zen. So much Gold is good for so much Zen/AD.
Its been mentioned before, but an account bank would be great.
Can't sell/Can't discard items. What purpose does this serve? Why give me something I can't use and then turn around and tell me I'm stuck with it?
Soooo much THIS. One of the things I loved about Warhammer and Rift was being able to wander "off grid" or off the rails and climb different mountains, get different views, finding hidden "things" puzzles, small loot caches, mini bosses, etc. It's about the adventure!
THIS. Dear Santa -- PLEASE. Dear Satan -- PLEASE. Dear Selune -- PLEASE!
...and Timers dang it!
Yes! I forgot I wanted to try doing this in the Foundry. If the final map transition after the chest HONORED the "Use Overworld Map" to allow the user to select their final destination instead of going back to their departure map, we could totally do this -- The Journey to Ice Spire Peaks. Of course, the user could simply change their mind and select Blacklake District for their final map, but if they just honored the overworld map flag we could totally do this. I think I'm gonna enter a bug report, since the final map transition dialog box as the Use Overworld Map checkbox -- and it ain't workin'!
This should be pretty easy - they've already got most of the components...
Yes! Anything more Foundry I'm in favor of getting. The Foundry sets this game apart from ALL other MMOs at the moment (but for how long?). Give us more foundry details, and boss level encounters, and all those 60th levels screaming for more content shall have it!
...and my wishlist:
Edit: Oh Yeah...
- NPC Merchants for Foundry
Edit2: ...and and...Encounter Matrix | Advanced Foundry Topics
Spellblade or Arcane Warrior(CW+GF/GWF), Blackguard or Abyss Walker(SW+GF/GWF), some new gear T3 or Higher, A closet Option to see how items look on you.
-BETTER and more choice of gear from seal vendors.
-The ability to salvage Blue gear as you can with Purple. Either for AD or relevant Profession materials.
-Speaking of which: Ther ability to break down unwanted weapons/armour for profession resources.
-Some form of companion customization, even if only through dyes.
-I'd like the choice of deity to have SOME relevance, even if it's a superficial 1% to something like gold gain, XP or speed.
-In all seriousness, less GRINDY events. Let everyone, new and experienced players have the chance to get items from events without having to sit for an entire weekend/week doing the same two or three tasks hundreds of times. Midsummer Festival=Good. Masquerade of Liars=Awful.
