Now that the new patch is on the preview servers and the Soulforge is ruined for the most part, which augment do you think is now worth your time and Ad? Barkshield? Negation? Elven Battle? Thanks!

Although I think the current soulforged is ruining pvp, I'm curious on this topic too. I don't have an armor enchant yet, and I was wondering whats the best one for clerics (hybrid).

Barkshield is the best alternative. But if you only PvE, the new Soulforged may be good enough for a tanky class like Cleric. It is basically supped up version of Holy Resolve.

The classes getting totally screwed by the new Soulforged are CWs and TRs.

Yes, but you don't get a Revive debuff or injury (unless bugged).

However, there is no threat reset, nor resource reset. That means the change has least impact on GWF and DC who will normally always have some form of healing resource or can quickly recover or can escape.

check out out the preview release notes. Basically it brings you back to life after dying.

That really is terrible. They might as well add "also, if you NEED this proc every 90 seconds, uninstall neverwinter."

    Briartwine is my new favorite...

May sound silly/stupid to use, but I found that it procs Astral Seal and I am loving it!

The only others I'd consider post-mod2 would be Greater Barkshield (PvE only) or Greater Negation for added survivability.

SIDE NOTE: Coupled with Prophet Champion (GG) Armor for some Life Steal, Briartwine offers additional passive "healing" properties to yourself.

Yeah, i had a few barkshield lessers from farming on my main so I decided to make a barkshield normal (for now). So the new cleric is sporting it. It sounds weird, but yesterday and the day before in MoH runs, my cleric got 3rd DPS (rather than last per usual). She's crit build (lesser vorpal) but i managed a 1.2 mil dps. Not bad considering most clerics run at 400-500k dps (plus heals of course). And she's not stoned yet, just the dire wolf (epic) and a few white companions that i use just for fun. I need to get her stoned asap to get up to 40 percent crit or higher. Think im going to stack it with deflect as well.

Soulforged changes are amazing for pve. For Pvp it is doodoo. So it just really depends if you are a pve or pvp player.

Most like you will want to go with perf negation or bark if you are pvp. But if you are pve stay with it. free res every min and a half? Mean you can **** up more =P
