Anything new coming for authoring Foundry quests?

Hi all. I've been gone from Neverwinter for a few months, popping in once in awhile to do a Call to Arms event or two. Starting doing work on Foundry missions way back when, but felt a bit limited and with not enough incentive for players to play.

Has there been any word of anything new beyond what was put in with the initial Fury of the Feywild for Foundry? There was talk awhile back of them possibly putting in Foundry-only rewards (possibly all cosmetic), but never heard any more of it.

    Nope.

Check links in my sig for lots of foundry issues: 80+ bugs, some foundry websites, several requested improvements.

Eh. That's a shame. There was so much enthusiasm at the start. The nw_foundry channel seems to be completely dead these days. :(

There was some mention of new assets for Module 2, and we actually got the 3-d drag-n-drop editing with Module 1...so, one can only hope there'll be some major fixes.

We had a thread going a little while ago with suggestions that got a reply from developers. They liked the idea's and said it would be looked into for module 2. I am sure we will get more foundry tools soon. I know a few bugs they are working on as well. What I have read in many of their posts they want to create foundry tools, without making older modules obsolete and no longer playable. Most authors no longer play or update the quests they have created and that was a huge problem with the foundry after the major foundry changes in modules 1.

To be honest I have been impressed with them listening to the community for idea's on foundry updates. the drag and drop editor was huge improvement.

More bugs, frustrating glitches, less functionality and choice, bugs, illogical elements, and of course some bugs.

What Eldarth said, except there's more than those listed bugs, I dont bother posting bugs I find anymore. Notice we dont even see threads anymore on a number of things the Foundry doesnt have that the official game has had since Alpha, even Eldarth's sig seems to have given up on those.
I wasted five million AD promoting the Foundry.

We can keep our fingers cross for improvements from the 2nd Module - Shadowmantle. Saying that, there was no mention what so ever of the foundry in the 'highlights' of what Module 2 had to offer.

It does feel like a lot of Authors have become disheartened for a variety of reasons and we really need something MAJOR to encourage both players to write the next set of adventures and for gamers to want to play a wide selection of Foundry creations...

If you know of any Foundry Specific bugs - let me know - especially if you have a link to a bug report and I'll include it in my aggregation. I'm also going thru each link and adding current patch note link to keep the bug threads out of the necro territory.

And if you've got links to specific foundry requests, let me have those as well -- the bugs page has a suggestion section at the bottom (although that might be close to getting pushed off to page 2 due to all the listed bugs).

They said they were working on bosses and group content when Feywild was on preview, I am not sure when they plan to release those though.
Neverwinter players are stubborn things....until you strip them down to bone. (Cursed players, my flowers, MINE!) Oh how I plotted their demise.

So far when new modules are released we tend to get the assets that make up that new content. Looking forward to the castle bits coming soon, I hope.
