does more arpen in pvp make u do more dmg?
For example when u're running with 30% resistance ignore and your opponent has 36%
now u have a perfect bronzewood which reduces 16% of him to 20%
does the 10% of your arpen make u do 10% extra damage or something? Or is it useless?

You cannot go below zero mitigation with Resistance Ignored stat from Ability Score or Armor Penetration stat rating from gear. Only spells and enhancements do that.
But in your scenario,
Target = 36% DR - 30% Resistance Ignored = 6% DR.
Perfect Bronzewood then takes effect = 6% - 16% = -10% DR = +10% damage increase.
TLDR: ArP reduces their DR to 6%, bronzewood then lets it go negative to +10% dmg (or w/e it becomes if Bronzewood gives 16% reduction of your Defense stat, probably around 4% DR I'm guessing).
Not exactly sure how bronzewood works, if it suffers from the same issue as the Plaguefire and Terror, or if it's an actual 16%-units DR ignored.
But, generally it works like this:
Your dmg = (base damage)/(1+(DR+defense buffs-ArP)- defense debuffs)
Where their damage resistance can go negative and they take more damage than the base damage you deal. But, the (DR+Defense buffs-ArP) term can never go below 0.
Bronzewood is a flat damage boost. So in your scenarios 30% resist ignore reduces 36% DR to 6%, then boost that damage by 16% with a perfect bronzewood. The wording on bronzewood is confusing, but it is actually a flat damage boost by the stated amount.

As long as you understand the conditions of Bronzewood,
1. It can only be procced by Encounters (not At-Wills or Dailies).
2. The Encounter that procs it does not benefit from the debuff.
3. It benefits only you, not your party.
then Bronzewood is higher burst, therefore better for PvP than Plague Fire.
It is also good only for classes and builds that have low Critical Chance, e.g. many Guardian Fighter builds.
For other builds and classes, better burst can be obtained from Vorpal.
The more armpen you have, the more useless is Bronzewood. Since ~2k armpen is more than enough for PvP, some may disagree, and it already negates P. Bronzewood at that point, almost any other weapon enchantment + 2k armpen will do a better job.
It's funny how someone says bronzewood is a flat damage increase and it is followed by another post saying it reduces dmg reduction like armor penetration. Or maybe it's sad? I don't know.
I have tested it bronzewood. It is a flat damage boost. It is always 16% more damage regardless of anything to do with resistance, DR, or ArPen. People's ignorance keeps the price cheap though. So I guess I shouldn't complain.

Plague Fire (all ranks) is only maximum 3% damage increase at the moment.
Perfect Bronzewood = 16% damage increase.
Greater Bronzewood = 12% damage increase.
Normal Bronzewood = 8% damage increase.
