i know this is probably wrong section but i posted on the graphical issues and im still waiting for response after almost a week.

hi, like a lot of users on this forum, i have the tipical fps stall problem.
i've been reading a lot and i notice in some SS ppl have the option to change the DX that the game is running on, but i have no such option.

i have dual GPU laptop as well, with intel HD4000 and NvidiaGT 650M.
i've done all that ppl on the forum sugested so far and nothing solved the problem but i recently found out that i am missing that option and it might help me out.

is there a way to change it manually instead of beeing in game?
or is there a way to make that option appear?

thanks in advance.

i recently red something about arc downloader messing with the game as well, can anyone confirm?

Hi Heatblaze once I DL the old installer and try it on this new computer (which has stellar specs) I will let you know if the game stops the hitching and rubber banding until I test it I can't tell you if ARC could be the issue.

What option are you talking about changing manually though?

I too tried technical forum with no success thankfully someone here helped me out with the link

Hm does your video card support DX11 assuming it must so that is odd you don't have the option. I do have that and clicked it :) (a while back thinking that could be my issue)

I'm running a GTX titan and a 5GHz 2600K and I get the occasional game stall and DX crash. NW is just badly coded or badly supported.

nice computer you have there, i wouldnt be playing NW with these specs tho xD

thing is i dont get occasional stalls, its every 3 - 5 secs and when you turn the camera its stops for 2 sec at least. ruins pvp fun (wich is all i paly for) cuz i keep dying or loosing targets over these stupid freezes cause i simply cant move.

still waiting on download to finish.

Heatblaze, I am still testing and will post tomorrow on my results, takes more than a few games for me to know if I have a fix .

Sure hope you figure out why your DX11 option is not showing though!!

quick update, despite still having a few fps drops, in pvp instances seems to be much better and actually playable, will update if something comes up, but still no option to change to DX11.
