Today i did my dailies and noticed a GWF who had a red'ish looking weapon. When i looked closer I noticed it wasn't a enchantment like the blood one which gives your weapon a red look to it.. no, it was dyed!
Countless times I have read about weapons not being able to be dyed and community managers telling players the same.. this is all WRONG! And I have actual proof to back that statement up. I talked briefly to the polite player who described how to do it and that it is a really old bug that still hasn't been fixed. Weather or not they can actually fix it i don't know, but I thought i would do the right thing and bring it up anyways.
As it would be exploiting/bug-abusing I haven't actually dyed anything. I just tried out the method that he explained and got it confirmed to work as the weapon "preview" window showed me the result.
I have no intention to post the screenshots and description how to do this, unless a staff member would allow me to. Mostly because I would provide others abusing that bug if I did.
@CM's/GM's/Admins, should i forward this through a ticket or am I allowed to post further details here?
