Please come on , you are ruining the game with these bots. We all know its PWE running them and making more money on the side. same with spammers, remove them to prove us wrong, you are happy to code money making stuff but not fix alot of issues.
You are fast becoming a game company that i wont be purchasing from in the future.
Asides that game is great.
please pvp'ers /10char this

They're mainly lower level. People run bots to get them to 60 to either play or sell the account.

Another bots in PVP thread already??

Could be worse, they could be hiding in spawn and refusing to even fight once. You are probably right about the spammers since I have not seen any anywhere in Tera. Shrug.
Every class has advantages and disadvantages. Learn the disadvantages of you class to overcome them. Learn the advantages of your class and the disadvatages of other classes to use them in pvp to win.

There is no point to whine for nerfs because you win some and loose some. Crying just makes a player look like a crier and no one, especially the devs, should take them seriously. Have a nice day!:)

I think we have the makings for a "More bots in PVP Please" thread. Its pretty bad when bots act better than actual players in my opinion.

Lol yes it seems that the sad truth is that bots are more enjoyable to play against than the average pug as they stay until the end and continue to participate. That's pretty pathetic and given the circumstances it's definitely time for a leaver penalty IMO.

    I prefer moving, thinking targets.
When I play my GF and stand in front of them they look like average dumb player. oh look the high hp tank with a shield lets see if i can solo him down in 2 seconds......if those bots could at least chase a cw or dc then yes id agree.

For the last 4 days, i would say 70% of my pvp groups have had a bot in it or the enemy team had one.
I pvp alot so i kinda notice it, seeing a rogue 0-23 and always run to 2, never stealthed and basically runs the same path.

But considering the leaving rate as of recently any target > no targets =P

I played 3 PvP games on my lunch and all 3 we're over in 1 minute. One of them was myself and another guildmate and then 3 pugs with <9k GS and enemy team still immediately left when we capped 1 and 2 and got a couple kills.

Bots are rare in 60+ but all too common in the tiers below. A match will usually begin with a cursory glance at your teammates and a game of count the bot. I've had as many as three on my team. Makes for a substantial handicap to be sure.

Between the bots in lowers tiers and the gross gear imbalances in 60+ (which, in my opinion, are largely to blame for players quitting on matches. Who likes to be treated as a punching bag?) PvP is quickly becoming a slog for me.

A shame, as it has real potential, but it does not seem to be getting much attention from PWE.

actually this would be 1000 times better considering that hiding in spawn does nothing and you get no glory or xp so bots would never be out of the 10-19 bracket. also it's a huge hinderance point wise all someone has to do is cap 2 and constantly kill the bot for 150 points each time for tower defense. it's really not like they contribute in anyway essentially it's starting off 4v5 or 3v5 depending how many bots are on your team the most i've had is 3. lol nothing like haveing 3 bots in your group with a gear score of 15.

I actually haven't seen any PvP bots since the X-pack launch, on my level 60s or below.

count yourself lucky then lol. no lvl 60 you dont see many maybe one here or there. they're pretty easy to spot they have 0 gear at the very beginning before the gate goes down they constantly run into the corner and jump usually have the generic random name generated at creation or something thats like htjkd and almost everyone of them i have seen are TR(must be to hard to script the other classes). the 50-59 bracket is the worst i have noticed it's beyond easy to pinpoint these bots haha it's gotten to the point where i have sit at 2 and watch 2 bots fight each other i've even started taking bets lol usually they wont attack you unless your within a certain radius of them other than that they spawn run to 2 and if no ones there just stand there for an easy kill.

They seem to have gotten rid of a lot of the bots, but the down side is that queues for lower level PVP take a freaking hour now. COME BACK BOTS I'M SORRY I REPORTED YOU!

Ah, I was comparing the bots to players who hide in spawn and grief or QQ. Players hiding in spawn help no one but themselves. Bots can at least be a distraction and are worth points to the other team. Real players who hide in spawn or leave contribute even less than bots. Bots are at least worth points and can interrupt the other team getting points from 2 if they survive long enough. Is it a hindrance if the bot is on your team? Yeah, but a player that leaves or hides in spawn to grief is even more of a hindrance.

    Ah so bots actually move?

Might have had a bot in 2 of my games yesterday then (same guy): a 60 TR with a 2.5k GS who was just going mid, no horse, didn't really fight or use any skills

I thought it was a sad guy who just joined PvP for his 4 dailies and didn't otherwise care
