This has been discussed so many times. It's not plausible. Here are some examples:

1. Your premade queues, but for some reason one doesn't get in.
2. Real life comes up, you need to go.
3. You're being spawn-camped in the spawn-camp proof areas.
4. You're continually pig-humped by an opposing player after he/she kills you (someone in our guild maaaay do this from time to time :D).
Actually this should be added to lower the huge bot amount that kills the PvP atm.
1. No penalty if full team leaves then.
2. Few hour time out isn't an issue when you are not playing anyway.
3. This has been fixed already. Can't attack people in spawn area.
4. Only get worried if teabagging animation is added...

Somekind of anti-bot system needs to be developed. So you got better one in your mind?
The more you learn, the more you know.
The more you know, the more you forget.
The more you forget, the less you know.
So.. why learn?

Easy way to fix it, at least in theory, would be to:

1. a player who leaves cannot queue again for 15 minutes (a player that leaves a match with less than 10 players will not get penalized)
2. any player with a score of less than 100 after 5 minutes is kicked and the penalty is applied
3. players can vote to kick someone and the penalty is applied

Players can still find a way to get into the spawn camp and kill. I honestly think it is not a big deal because it usually only happens in a team or players are hiding in the spawn area. This means it rarely happens during on going matches. I thinking hiding is just as bad as randomly leaving. The rest is cool and the animation should be added.......
Every class has advantages and disadvantages. Learn the disadvantages of you class to overcome them. Learn the advantages of your class and the disadvatages of other classes to use them in pvp to win.

There is no point to whine for nerfs because you win some and loose some. Crying just makes a player look like a crier and no one, especially the devs, should take them seriously. Have a nice day!:)

Wow, people still argue over the same things? Months later, too.

I said it before, and I stand by my proposal.

Take ALL rewards out of PvP. Only then will people do it for the sheer enjoyment of it. Anything else, and you'll have what you're so upset and arguing about over and over and over.

It's simple, really. But everyone wants a reward, some kind of Pavlovian thing, I guess. HAMSTER......CRYPTIC is too scared to try selling the PvP in this game on its own merits, so rewards are attached to entice the greedy people, and the results are apparent. Threads like this and behavior ingame as is described in this very thread.
I'm unhappy and I can't say why.

Matches:
First one: My pug team out plays the other team and three members of the other team leave with the score being 300/30. An agreement is made between my team and the last two members of the team to not fight, let the last two members cap a point, and my team recap it repeatedly so the last two members of the other team can earn more glory. <-boring but fair.

Second one: Both teams are equal in gear, strategy, and teamwork. My pug team wins only by 100 points with a score of 1000/900. <- The best type of match I like.

Third one: Both teams are fighting well and my pug team is down by eight points with the score at 270/278. A DC in my pug teams decides to be selfish and hide in the spawn area instead of continuing to fight and my team looses. <-Honestly one reason I think leaving is justified when a team members is selfish and hides in spawn.

Fourth one:
The other team out gears and has better winning but no one on my team leaves or hides in spawn. <-Good type of match because its fun trying to improve and still earn points.

I am all for having a penalty for leaving if there is something done about the players hiding in spawn and ruining the pvp match. Players say there is no excuse for leaving. Well, there is no excuse for hiding in spawn. Both issues need to be dealt with at the same time.

2. Everyone in the team except you rushing to fight cap the point nearest spawn and ignoring 2. (Giving the other team time to cap points 1 and 2 to earn more points.)

How many times have I been through this in the past three days.....4 team members run to #1 and sit there while it caps. Yes, I will leave because you can't fix stupid.
