Proper way to heal

I didn't want to derail my own thread on synergy between healing and the other classes. I've asked his zone chat and have gotten no response. I've read over numerous threads that Divinity based healing is much stronger than regular. I tried that for the first time in PvP today. Is there a skill I should be using that prolongs the Divine state or that builds Divinity up? Today, I cast a few spells in Divine state and I basically ran out of ammo and to switch back to non-Divine status.

    Dont use the reg attack it drains way too fast , use the encounter powers they r way stronger .
    Sheild is wonderful in divine mode because along with sheilding it regens at a extemly fast rate -very good to have.
