Charisma stat still useful after new Eye of Storm?

Should I go for Wis or Cha, since the new patch upped the proc rate of Eye of Storm? My build is a hybrid Thaum/Rene AOE.

    Why don't you go to the Preview shard (Mimic) yourself and try it out?

    The tooltip also says the Charisma increases the bonuses of stats on companions, so with more Charisma, one might receive more benefit from an Ioun Stone/Cat.

    I just tried Charisma on Preview and it doesn't seem to change the bonus that I get from the Stone.
