neverwinter is missing a major playable class that is a traditional standpoint in both the neverwinter universe as well as d&d in general. and that is the druid class true we have a cleric/healing type class as it is but druids bring in some diversity to the game by not only being able to heal but being able to use the elements of nature to protect, cause damage ect. i don't understand why druids are missing from the game but it would be nice to see the druid class being available as a playable character class.

this is a game based on the d and d universe it doesn't actually follow the dm guide or the pen and paper ruleset. at least i don't think it does. stats may follow those rules but spells and abilites for classes i'm pretty sure don't. and druids are part of the d and d univrse. and i'm pretty sure if it does follow the pen and paper ruleset it would not be this new fangled HAMSTER it would be the original when the game was created back in the 80s ruleset.

This game follows along the lines of the 4th edition rule set for classes

And in specific, 4th edition Druids are Controllers with a Shapeshifting mechanic that either emphasizes the Controller role, or allows them to perform off-Defender or Striker duty on demand.
A lot of the 'Healing' aspect of 3rd and earlier Druids was instead shifted to the Shaman class, though it's worth noting that even the original Druid class was more offensively/control minded then the Cleric was (and could body-block/physically attack as a last-resort or a primary game plan via Shapeshifting as well).

Same for me. I would love to see Storm of Vengeance (my favorite spell).
