One of the most enjoyable feature I have encountered while playing WoW and Everquest was acquiring legendary weapons.. maybe we can have a very challenging series of missions/quests that allow players to acquire a class legendary weapon that is bound to them. It will be something like Tier 2.5 or tier 3 quality. This will of course not be easy to acquire (since it involves long solo mission and multiple dungeon runs). But it will allow players an overarching end-game goal to work toward.
I really want to see legendary profession assets as well. 60% speed bonus, and 50% quality, that would be awesome. Even if they would cost a lot of zen.
If they will put in a legendary weapon i hope they will make it obtainable REALLY i mean really hard! Like doing one dungeon every day at least once for 30 days. If you skip 1 day you have to start over. (But please dont make it a drop, like you have to obtain 30 shard to get the legendary, then everyone will sell it, or farm it in 24h/day)
Legendary weapons would be awesome and it would really make end game players happy and give them something to do also ppl new to the game to have something to stride for when they see someone have it, but I would hope they do something different not just a series of quest I think a extremely low drop chances and incredibly hard encounters and hidden places would be much better then just grinding. also it doesn't just have to be weapons maybe helms or entire armor sets would be pretty sweet. Also I hope they don't call them legendary though should come up with something different like God, Supreme, Immortal, Divine, Ancient any of those in my opinion would be much better then just calling them legendary.
In D&D this would be called a "Relic". The only problem is there is only supposed to be one of them. It would be sort of awkward to run a Dungeon Delve with another player that also has a "Machine of Lum the Mad". I would love to see a "Deck of Many Things" implemented though. Fun times to see a fighter draw a Vorpral blade card, followed by a cursed card that lowered his strength to 3.
Would the legendary weapons just have higher stats/damage, or would they also have a special bonus? Should there be legendary off-hands too, which would grant a special bonus or ability?

I think they plan to implement them eventually as they have the color code for that specific item quality already (discovered while toying with the html in my history tab before they broke it)
I think they need to make Legendary weapons unique in this game. Why not have Legendary Weapons a weapon that can be custom made by collecting gears for their skins and mats for their stats.
Step 1: Gear and Weapon skin book that records weapons and gear skin
Step 2: each weapon and gear skin can be broken down to different parts such as sword weapon skins breaks down into Blade design, hilt design, and grip design.
Step 3: use different parts to make your legendary weapon's looks
Step 4: Legendary Weapons have unique aura effects.
Step 5: Gather the Mats for the stats you want for your legendary weapon or gear.
Step 6: make your legendary gear.
basically make legendary weapons through a foundry system but less complicated.
could make it where each dungeon gives a unique token at the end, and make it where you need 10 tokens from each dungeon to make one item for your class. and also make it have a low success rate, 10-25% maybe
