Did Hammer of Fate get nerfed?

I have many clerics and when I used to use Hammer of Fate it would usually kill or come close to killing in PvP, now I'm lucky if it does 50% damage against anyone in PvP regardless of the level of the cleric. If the cleric I use has low damage I can bet Hammer of Fate won't appear to do much of any damage at all. Using Hammer of Fate against rogues is almost an auto miss right now, I used it five times against a rogue in PvP during one match with zero damage done and no sign that he had any special defenses triggered (he was running away one of those times, another time he was using a health potion and was healing up fast through the hammer of fate attack). At present 60% (sometimes even more) percent of the time I use hammer of fate in level 60 matches I appear to do zero damage at all with it.

What is going on with Hammer of Fate? It used to be a really good spell in level 60 PvP and I have huge damage ratings on a couple of my clerics.

    Make sure you Log window is open and limit the messages to Self so you only see your own activities. Then get some actual numbers for the daily against targets.

    Also, you should be aware that Hammer of Fate seems to act like a multi-cast, almost DoT like attack. That means players can either dodge or while damage immune not be hit by the separate parts of the attack. They do not have to dodge the very first part to avoid the other parts.

    It also does not help that it is one of the most distinctive sounding and visual Dailies around, so for that reason its quite easy for players to learn to dodge it eventually.

    I hate that it makes four separate hits to do all of its damage, and you can't move during that time without losing the additional hits. But every rogue I'm attacking, and no they are not trying to dodge it, are being completely missed by it. I also hate how Hammer of Fate does less damage the further away targets are. Still I used to be able to kill or almost kill just about anyone with it as long as they weren't immune, and now I'm lucky to do half damage with my highest damage cleric (the other clerics struggle even more with it now). It seems like the spell has been nerfed.

    I honestly haven't noticed them not taking damage unless they dodge part of the attack. As for the damage portion, haven't noticed a whole lot of difference, but I am specced for damage. I have killed TR before from about 70% hp from this daily though so I don't feel it was nerfed, but then that could be my damage spec :/

    My damage spec is rather high. I would like to think that all this has something to do with everyone extremely buffing up their defenses after the Tymora Gifts drops, but that still wouldn't explain every rogue I attacked during the last five matches I played avoiding all damage from my hammers of fate, and others also avoided damage and the ones I hit only seemed to drop less than half a health bar after 4 consecutive hits. All this while my other encounters and at wills remained to damage quite well.

    End game cleric with best gear in-game here. No weapon enchant (I'm still pondering about this one :/) And when i respecced PVP for fun, I could 1 hit TR's // CW's with it.

    The chance is that the TR was using "Impossible to Catch", cause the animation of HoF is pretty obvious :P. But I get what you mean, I also use the HoF and sometimes no damage at all? (not even "Immune")

    But my HoF is still doing the same damage, can still one shot people with it ^^

    Mine seems weaker than it used to be. I noticed a lot of people were taking no damage from hits. I assumed they were dodging or blocking or using a class ability. Maybe that's the issue. Honestly it's pretty crappy the way it works. Anyone who gets hit by all the hits is just a moron. I should be called Hammer of Avoided Fate.

    It seems to bug, yes some HITs of it can be dodged, also it seems some rogues who uses ITC dont get damaged by it.

    As a cleric i can easily dish out a total 20-30k dmg combo with hammer but doing it with rogues seems to bug since they can seem to dodge some of the attacks and the dmg from the last hit that pushes them doesnt seem to count if they have ITC on.

    LOL so true....... i actually use it more as a survival skill than killing with it :)

    Honestly, as crappy as most of our abilities are...

    If this were an other class' ability, it would stun the opponent the whole time you were casting it, and make you entirely immune to damage. The final hit would do AoE damage and knockback to everyone within 20' of the target and leaving them Prone afterwards.
