You would make the battle potions have little to no gold value.
Seriously, this change of making PVP gear bind on pickup is only hurting players from having a small source of economy or a way of getting items for their alts.
All the botters like want-to-sell.com most likely have a macro of buying the 1-glory potion and selling it for gold. If you really wanted to stop botters from profiting, fix that first. This change is a step-back without solving any problems.
Every blizzard game and other MMOs have tons of botting going on in them. You can never clean them out. What you can do is make it less exploitable for botters without giving up too much of experience/reward to the real players

The only way to stop bots from farming glory is not to give out glory. As long as something is given out, as long as it can be sold for anything, there will be bots.

can prevent bots, but requires a f2p game with no reward gain haha, so the game itself has to be lots of fun

Not true. Some bots just PVP to level to endgame.
Place your bot in game and in two or three days you have a level 60 characters.
Personally I think this will balance out once there are more pvp options. With a max of 3 queues to go into, this could easily be culled by making more options for players to enter. Maybe a 3v3, 2v2, 7v7, 10v10 options for the current Domination system. Also adding new types of pvp with the same number of queue. The bots would only be able to stack of few of those options due to the Queue max. And the higher person count matches would be less crippled by the loss of team mates.
Sometimes the best option is to flood people with options.
NW-DKH3UKB4Q - Kobold Crusher. A sewer crawl with adjustable difficulty aimed at assisting with one of the Slayer achievements.
:S anyway with this change i will not play pvp anymore i just played to have some gold income from glory since the equip you buy sucks, the only equip worth getting sometimes is the blue ones that you win after you won 1st place, however even those are HAMSTER most of the time just some belts sell good in the AH, from personal experience i have won 1st place in like 50 ot 60 matches and just got one belt that i sold yesterday at a good amount most of the rest equip I either try to sell it at a low prize in the AH and if no one bought it i just sold it to the NPC (after losing small amount as posting fee)
Everything works out in the end . If it hasn't worked out yet, it isn't the end...

They are taking that first step.
Botting really is rampant, not just in pvp but there are a ton of rogue kit-runners too.

What the hell is the point of glory? Or PvP at all? Are we seriously expected to do an activity in an MMO with no reward incentive?
Yeah, this is sure to be a long-lasting game.
