I gave up farming boxes with my level 60 DC - foundries are too hard and slow and Whispering Caverns are too crowded.

Instead I took a low-level alt, and just ran through an appropriate low-level area populated with critters of my level or above.
    Hoping for improvements...

Running a foundry quest called Endless Corridor that consists of a bajillion rooms with exactly one monster in them. Ludicrously quick and easy to run through(Takes my 60 TR <15 minutes and my 15 CW ~18) and I usually get between three and seven gifts a run.

    I too gave up on trying to do anything with my DC. ...OK, so levelling him is so unenjoyable I haven't done anything with him at all in ages and his last four levels were gained from praying. >_>;
Largely inactive, playing Skyforge as Nai Calus.

I farm a foundry named "A Fateful Encounter". It has difficulty slider, so I play at hardest with a fair number of big mobs.

Not been farming, just running the quest chain at lv 47 to 55 and been raking in the boxes like mad, right now have 14 dragon eggs, 5 Fools crowns, 1 set of lv 60 TR armor, more pots then I care to count, 70k + R.A.D that it seems I can only convert so many a day. grrr. and going to start all over when I get home.
    If it moves, KILL IT!

Farming??? Nowhere, because the killstealing is getting out of control. And i could not tolerate it any longer. It made me feel like a complete moron, to let people take advantage of my efforts so i stopped farming boxes after the first couple of hours the event went live.

This game needs an anti killstealing ruleset, desperately.

    Peace.

why are you farming in zones and not foundries ? drrrr......

I had someone do the same to me in Caverns. I know it didn't typically cause me to lose loot, but it annoyed me the 6th time or so he did it and as a result me and another guildie who was having the same irritation with this fellow proceeded to follow him around and do the same to him for 15 mins or so. He stopped.

As for where I'm farming, I'm farming Caverns, also farming the Fateful encounter foundry and Epic PK-which we are doing without throwing mobs off the sides for extra chances at the gifts.

So far I've probably farmed ~150 in Caverns, ~30 in Foundry and ~20 in PK(average 5/run).

I just lvl my Alt been getting boxes as I lvl, very very very very very rarely ever get a box in a T2 dungeon (probably because they lower rates in Dungeons and mobs always get knocked off edges)

I've been doing gold pit, I afk'd for 1 pit and still got 2 gifts. Therefore you don't need to do anything to actually get gifts. Earlier I got loads, then later the drop rate was really low... So yeah, don't use 'kill stealing' as an excuse...

Foundry is the best place to farm imo.

There is a quest called the Crucible of ........ ( something ) or the crucible challange it was.
This is a 30 wave combat based trial, with several bosses in it.
A run usually takes about 20 mins, and rewards between 5 ~ 11 gifts.

There is also a set of foundry quests called Asassins Farm & monsters farm.
Assassin one is the easy one and rewards between 0 and 4 gifts in 5 mins.
Monsters one is a bit harder but also between 0 and 4 gifts in 10 minutes.

You need to alternate between all the above foundry quests so that you wont be struck by the anti farming protection in the game.
Didn't have that much time this weekend, spent like 4 or 5 hours so far since friday.
Over 100K AD, 2 useless crowns, 5 Eggs and a load of potions and other crafting mats.

Feel like they wasted the entire economy in just one weekend.

Heh, I farmed 30+ gifts in the tower district just to get the crown, Not sure what to do with the seven useless Dragon Eggs I got while farming, though.
