So how can GWF prevent Rogue one shotting him ? Serious answers , come on I have full T2 PvP gear and both enchants and yet a rogue one-buttoned me. What's the fun in that 0.o

t2 pvp gear is garbage.

IF u want to roflstomp in pvp u need: 2 titan\2 scrapper\ ice axe\ titan knot\regen rings\ 1khp belt\ thunderhead+lifedrinker\ full CON build as in 26 con without campfire buff and 6 gte + 34-38k hp.
Carnage TR Dragon shard - retired? hell yea it's retired along with Nevewinter

seriously, as GWF I dont what you are talking about. As for myself, I never lose to any Rouge at PVP. They always damage me half in first seconds, and when I got my first hit (knock down) and unstoppable active, they can do nothing. For me, the hardest opponent as GWF is GF. This HAMSTER always block all my incoming skill and push me off allthetime.

Never was I one shotted or even 2 shotted, or even 3-4 shotted by any TR. Have no idea how you have this experience.

Well there are TR's out there that will one hit you (25-30k crits) if you don't do the HP build that is mentioned. I don't think there is a whole lot you can do about it unless you stack HP. I have no interest in that because I love my high DPS in PvP and PvE. So I just have to bite the bullet when I get nearly 1 hit by TR sometimes.

Also, it seems that 80-90% of the rogues I run into have CC immunity as well has HUGE damage resist. Like my damage is 1/4th of what it normally is. They just hop around like a fcukin clown and throw knives at me and I can't seem to do damage to them. Can someone tell me what this is? Is it their skill Impossible to catch? I've heard people talking about it but I don't know because I've only played GWF in this game. I just know that they become basically like a GWF in Unstoppable except for instead of taking 50% damage they only take 25% damage. It's pretty baffling tbh.

How much HP/Defense do you have? Because I have 22k HP and 1,800-1,900 defense. I've been one hit several times with plenty to spare.

22k hp is ur problem. on my tr i got 29k. dps gwf is garbage in pvp, u need to be pure pvp geared and feated. I know when it's a pve gwf in pvp when I hit 25k-30k lashing blades from lurker or they even die to df from stealth+lb.

Just over 26k Hp, 1600 defense. Maybe because I am either doing premade in 5man so the TR usually goes for the squishy first, so I usually get the jump on them, or running GG which is very hectic for a TR. Some of them just stand stealthed at the cap and it is very obvious since the cap meter turns red and you know they are there lol. One big hit from them usually gives me enough for Unstoppable, then they usually die. I use PvP pots too.
I am not doubting that there may be the occasional TR that will do 30k+, I just never came across one of them yet, or that even that 30k+ is rare for them pull off.
There is always going to be few that are abusing a mechanic. I personally dont run the Hp/Sent/Teneb because I doubt I will get any satisfaction out of it, and not willing to spend all the AD. I like to feel like my skills contributed to the kill (even if in reality it didnt lol).

Yea I guess I don't care enough to mangle my character with HP/tene build. I play this game to smash in PvE as well as PvP. I feel like my build is the best of both worlds. Certainly not garbage at PvP. If that means getting 1 hit by a rogue every once in a while then so be it. Just shake it off, respawn, and go find the little f***er and return the favor. Besides, I looks like the 1 hits are going to be going bye bye with the next patch.

DPS GWF is garbage in PvP?! Yet with the grace of God, I, somehow, often am in the top 10 of GG (sometimes top 3) and quite often 1st in 5man and many times with 0-1 deaths. I personally dont know of a Sent. PvP geared and feated who has 7sec cooldown on Takedown. The best part is that I am using T1 PvP set with rank6 enchants. I am telling you, faith can do miracles! :P

it is impossible to catch, while active the TR deflects all incoming attacks, and when they deflect a attack they reduce the damage by 75%. I would just say chuck your shield up and block all of the attacks, but i guess you picked the wrong class =p

Lasts 3 to max 5 seconds. You can wait it out, run around some to break LoS to mess up his CoS.

To the OP, it's not the class, it's the Tene's. If you face a non-uber-geared TR you are his worst nightmare. You're faster, your swordswings will hit him if he gets close and WMS makes him a bit easier to spot. Slam works wonders too ;)

Pay attention to the blue circle at your feet, it will light up red in the direction of the stealthed attack.

You should never have troubles with TRs

simply dont waste your cooldowns on TR while impossible to catch and change your camera view often for mouse-overing rouge and destealthing him.

GWF is TR killer, I personally love trampling TRs to ground

There are some saboteur TR's out there with full CC immunity and dodges that you just can't stop. They restealth and continue chucking daggers and slowly whittle you down. This build will suffer from the nerf, but they can survive out in the open pretty long with Smoke, ITC and two dodges.

There is a particular rogue on Beholder than I just cannot beat in 1v1 with my guardian fighter, and he's the only player I've encountered that's been able to dominate me.

Sounds familiar. This is what I'm talking about. Not just a single 3-5 sec ITC. It seems to go on for the entire fight until I die because I can't touch him/them.
