My campaign quests dropped quite a few when I tried them out. Part 1 dropped 7-10 for a friend of mine last night. I didn't ask about the other two in the queue. Part 1 and 3 average around 29 minutes. Part 2 does take a bit longer. The time is more or less if you are well geared, take a friend, or are a fast reader/don't care about dialog.
Obviously, I don't have any real control over how many boxes drop as this is a totally random drop in a Cryptic event. It is entirely possible that my friend just had good luck.
Good luck in this event all!

I'm spending the weekend working on the sequel (when I probably should be taking advantage of the event... hmm...). Plot is finished. Maps are complete, and looking pretty good! Costumes are all tweaked. Adding the dialogue and encounters, which is turning out to be slower than I remembered, but I wanna get it just right.
Pretty soon, you'll be able to revisit the village of Dumedalot and same them from... <insert ominous music here>... the Danger in the Sky!
(Meanwhile, ya know, if you're using Foundry adventures for the event and happen to stumble across a gift with a boatload of Astral Diamonds, feel free to tip the Authors. That kind of encouragement goes a long way...)

I look forward to this... I've been waiting on your continuation.

Quests that have a difficulty slider based on dialogue choice is good for small groups. If you're careful, you can spawn all modes, easy, standard and hard at once. Lots of gift and box drops. We've been using my "A Fateful Encounter" for this. But only we foundry authors would know how to do this ;-)
The above mentioned are CLEARLY exploit maps. Putting melee mobs where they can't fight back is exactly the kind of thing they banned people for before. Hopefully they'll ban the players who do those maps repeatedly as well.
The three quests I ran last night after the event started yielded great results - Cloak and Dagger (both chapters) and Hands of Jorath; got 8-10 per dungeon. I have only played the first Book Binding today and had 4 before I got out of the first room! By the end of the quest I had 14.
All 4 quests were down on my list to play or review (I didn't pick them out especially) so I would say that Foundrys are generally great for this event, particularly if there is a slider or it is already designed to offer challenging content (the gift boxes are only falling from strong mobs as far as I can tell). And the event is being kind to Foundrys...the GD forum threads have several players recommending them generally as a good place to farm away from the madding crowd
