Hi all,
I was just thinking that it would be cool to be able to co-author quests with your friends. Unfortunately, due to account information, passwords and such, we are not really able to do this. However, programs such as MS Visual studio allow multiple programmers to work on the same project. I thought that it would be cool if at some point in the future this could be done with the foundry. This way, friends from around the world can work on and co-author some sweet quests for players. What are your thoughts?
I added a poll just for fun to see how many people like this idea.

The main reason that I suggest co-authoring is that some people are really good at story/dialog, while others are amazing at environments. Don't get me wrong...there are a lot of people that are good at both, but for people like me it would be nice to have someone else to work with to make the perfect foundry mission. On the other hand, I really like your idea about map sharing as well. That had not even occurred to me, but it is an awesome idea.

I have thought about it some more and think it would be a great idea. but.. rather than co authoring I think editor permission would work better. So you have the Author who can give friends etc. permission to edit. There would need to be a fail-safe. ie. remove all edits by @whoever and anyone who has added to it will be mentioned. I think it would be key that only the Author can actually publish the changes.
I'm not sure how realistic that would be.
Yeah, I would be pretty happy with that option too. Really if I had anyway to share editorship (I made that up I think ) with a friend it would make me happy.

At minimum, map sharing should be implemented sooner, not later.
