Preformed Parties Split When Queue Finally Accepts

Its happened twice now during Skirmish Event (Straight to Helm)
Sitting in Queue solo waiting 20+ minutes
Invited a couple of more players to wait in Queue together as a party, so I was acting leader
The Join Party Accept window pops up, and I accept
Portal in with 4 strangers :( and the others in my party who had so patiently waited were back in Queue still waiting

Of all the idiosyncrasies in the game the Queue system is just SO frustrating!
The more so when at higher levels you need to complete the Daily skirmishes 2, 3 and 4 times.

Is this a glitch or a new "feature"?

    It's because you're in the Queue when you invite them, so they actually get queued separately from you. Just leave the Queue before you queue your party.

    So, a glitch I guess.

    I feel just awful having messed those parties up :(
