Can't discard item (wrongly) left after quest!

After finishing the Cathedral of Madness quest, an [Order of Blue Fire Summoning Talisman] was left in my backpack and I can't discard or sell it, basically, I am troubled with an unused item that I can't discard, therefore, having one less slot available in my backpack.

Please help!

    . . . . . Hmm, is it bound? If not, maybe try mailing it to yourself and then delete the mail? Please do make an in-game or web-site Support ticket never-the-less, if you haven't already. Include the item description and the shortcode of the foundry mission it is from in your report. Please feel free to reply with the Ticket ID number. Thanks!

    It is not a Foundry quest.
    It is a normal history quest from The Chasm, as you can see from the link I posted in my first post.

    Yeah, the item is bound, you can't discard (throw out of the backpack) and can't sell. And, of course, can't mail.
    I've sent a ticket in-game before creating the post, no response yet.

    One of my friends has the same problem, too.

    I have the same trouble too. The items have been at my inv since the quest, I tried every trick I know.

    By the way, I think in-game tickets are not working (not reflected in my account, at least)

    I have exactly the same problem. After helping a lower level friend with the quest, I picked up 2 (of the 4) talismans to help him out and finish it quicker. Even after "F" / "using" them to summon the final boss, they are still in my inventory. Very Annoying!

    Can't discard or sell or mail. Only option is to equip.

    I've tried going in with other low levels and solo'ing the whole quest again but that just adds to the stack of talismans (LOL!), even if I use them all at the end to summon the boss.

    It's definately a bug and should be looked into soon.

    After some research, it seems that the item is only deleted form your inventory when you turn in the quest to the npc.
    I will be looking for someone with the quest and ask him/her to share the quest with me and see if after turning in the quest the items will be deleted.

    If someone here is at The Chasm and can help, please send a PM here or in-game to @junichirou/@fullbuster9ray.
    (I am leveling a character for that purpose, but it will take some time now, since I play with my main more frequently.)

    Info update:
    Yeah, actually when you turn-in the quest the items are deleted instead of when you place them.
    So if you have some left in your backpack, ask someone with the Cathedral of Madness quest to share it with you and ALL the items will be deleted after you turn-in.
