Alchemy Rares not listing for *one* character

Out of five characters, alchemy rares not showing for one character (and of course it's the one character I'm working on alchemy on).

Why would this be happening?

I can see all rares in all other professions on all other characters.

Yes, I've logged and exited, from both gateway and game. Relogged. I've let something complete, and it's still not showing.

You have to experiment to find the recipe for most of the Rare tasks in Alchemy. Until you have got a few ranks done you won't see many rare tasks.

I've been wondering the same thing.

I've also been wondering when the Alchemy stuck bug will get squashed. How close are you to a solution? Can an individual make a request to have theirs reset? At this point, I'd just as soon start over.

Yes but this is a weird thing where people with rank -1- alchemy could see ALL rares when they had all filter boxes unchecked, but people with rank -3- alchemy (the person I was leveling at the moment) could not see ANY rares.

It was as infuriating as anything. As soon as there was a rank 3 rare -- a low enough rare -- it seemed that the rares (only the rank 3) would suddenly be visible. For SOME reason the database query is just simply not working.

If I have a profession selected, and I have no filters and no search term selected/entered, I should ostensibly see -everything-. Right? But it doesn't work that way consistently. On some characters it does, on others it doesn't.

What's worse is that it SEEMS that search query terms are saved from one character to the other randomly from one profession to the next. My query term for leadership may show up under leatherworking -- or it may not. On one character or another, not all.

Something is wonky. And it I bet causes a lot of these inconsistent display issues. They really need a "clear" button or a "reset" button that does some sort of universal reset, and they need the search filter/query settings to not get confused from character to character.
